MMMMMMMM that looks so good. Only place I've ever had frog legs was at the New Orleans House. Man with a tray would come around to your table and serve you huge frog legs. I bet yours were better. Daniel your a very lucky man to have such a great mother in law to go down where there are snakes. I'd be back in the vehicle in no time. She is great at catching frogs also. The beer batter would make anything taste good. Can't get over Jacoby eating the frog leg and even said a fee words. Proud of him. Emilee is so lucky to be able to hang out and enjoy in the fun. He has the coolest playground ever in the front and back yard of his bedroom. But most of all, two great parents. Had to comment after hearing the mother in law hunting with grandson and son in law comment and I’m definitely about to share this video with her. My momma was the one who took my oldest son on his first fishing trip, first hunting trip and I can guarantee u, if she heard that my husband or kids went fishing or hunting without her, she would be mighty pissed! She will get muddy, dirty and bloody if she has to! Damn good momma, even better mother in law, and the GREATEST grandma!

I was thinking the same thing. We never dump oil or other things in the water. Every state we have been to it is illegal.

So what would you have done with the oil? What do you do with your used cooking oil at home?

I turn my used cooking oil and motor oil to the local garage which he burns in his heater to keep his auto shop warm in the winter. After done cooking with you oil on the stream set the pot on the bank in water to cool down. Great video.

Arms Family Homestead;-. After I fry chips, I filter the cooled oil thru soft kitchen towel etc paper which I put in a suitable size funnel,- going into a bottle! It is a slow process as I pour a certain amount oil into the funnel, but to be careful, not too much as the funnel can tilt to one side and some may spill over, which I do not want as is more to clean up! It takes some time to do all that as you may image! Someone to help will be great! I re-use that oil for a number of chips fries and it is still alright! To fry fish etc I can use that oil too, But after frying fish etc, I pour that cooled oil into a Separate/Other bottle! When I burn wood for a barbecue, I pour some of that (old) oil onto the wood; that oil gives the fire a real Boost!, (there will be flames!) especially if the wood is taking time to catch alight! You can also pour some oil onto barbecue wood a day or so before your barbecue! It may attract ants etc but the oil will have soaked into the wood, which will start to burn better! All part of the fun! We see 🐸 fishing, - catching, & preparing on Cole & Jay's KZbin channel too! "Catch a big'un!" Greetings from South Africa! 🇿🇦

Great video, lots of old fashioned fun with the kids. Bella being a lab, has to go on the boat with her family! I love that you all let your dachshund just be a dog. Ours used to go hunting with my dad, he never let us near a snake and was quite a guard dog too. People treat them like "frou-frou" dogs and forget they're a hound, just as much as a beagle or basset. They've got a great nose! My only negative thought is please don't empty your cooking oil in your beautiful creek! It's so pristine and full of wild life.

I use a small hook on fishing pole and a pice of red cloth to catch bullfrog’s works great and fun . You dangle the cloth in front of the frog and they go nuts for it and attack it .

When I first met my husband his brother was building a house on a lake. There was a big hole near the house site that was full of water. There was a ton of frogs in the hole. My husband and his brothers rigged up something that shot an electric current between two prongs. Every frog that passed between those prongs were shocked and floated to the top of the water. We had enough frog legs to feed about 12 people that night. First time I ever tasted frog legs. Love the videos!

Oh I've caught many a bullfrog that's three times that size. Monster Bullfrogs. They are just as gentle as the small ones are. Lots of meat on them. Their leg stretch was super long, too. It's good that you're teaching everyone this though. Big boat small creek. The most important thing is to have fun.
