I would have placed that 220 at the narrowest spot, shoveled out the channel a little deeper with the excavated material placed on the makeshift "wall" to the "corraling" of the prey towards the connibare.

Wjy do people still trap and kill the beaver when it's whole being is an essential part of the ecosystem

Because they fuck up and flood the land around the creek they dam up. Thus creating a new and different eco system that did not previously exist. That is why you control beaver populations.

Please dont kill the animals for sport, or fur. Our ecosystems are stressed as it is. We need all of these animals for a healthy ecosystem.
