Thought I’d change it up a bit and record a quick lesson for y’all next to the creek behind my house. Hope y'all like the change of scenery! Also, here are some video bookmarks for you: 00:00 - Listen to the 12 bar bluegrass solo 00:24 - Line 1 of tablature 1:31 - Line 2 of tablature 2:39 - Line 3 of tablature 3:48 - Practice the solo with me

@@cameronsimonton2515 nice! I love Blueridge guitars btw… dollar for dollar they’re some of the nicest sounding acoustics out there. Eastman is in the same category - amazing guitars for the price. Hope you enjoy playing this one!

The lesson presented here is head and shoulders above other tutorials, the format is brilliant. This should be a standard learning format for youtube tutorials. The intro with the full peice at speed, breakdown into sections, the tab shown alongside the demonstrations, even starting with fast speed and repeats at a slower temp, this is a winning formula. You should get an award.

Nice, but learning just the tabs and not the "why" behind it forces one to learn one song at a time. Hit this note, then this note, then this note . . . . . . There's just so much time a person has and so many memory cells to structure your guitar learning like this. Learn this song, then learn another, then learn another and you're going to forget some of them over time. There must be a way to really learn guitar.

I see where you’re coming from, however this lesson is designed for the players who already have a good understanding of scales and how to use them to play lead. If you need some extra details though, definitely check out the courses I have at Country Guitar Online… find them at the top menu under Lessons, Guitar Courses. Hope to see you over there!
