@@steff4413 The point of my comment in general was my opinion that filming should not be allowed in gyms, whether it be by men or women. No one wants to be filmed by someone else when they're working out.

i'm pretty sure the main problem in the gym isn't men taking pictures, it's women setting up tripods and taking videos of everyone else.

This can be particularly dangerous because the guy knows what they look like, what they do everyday and what time he sees them the most. It can potentially lead to stalking.

I'd like to see the other side of this where people set up tripods to record themselves in public gyms and then harass others that get in their shot.

The woman actress was so sweet at the end! Random strangers at the gym are probably the nicest random strangers statistically lol. I tend to workout at 2am when it's just me and and like 3 old men at the gym, but I still always make sure my phone is parallel to the ground when I'm on it inbetween sets so people know I'm not filming them lol.

I’ve learned not to get involved in shit like this. Many years ago, I was using a multi station machine at my gym. It was packed on all sides. I was in the middle doing pull ups, and a young girl was doing lat pull-downs to my right. A couple minutes into my workout, a man walks up to the young girl on my right, puts his hands on her shoulders and starts telling her that she is doing the exercise wrong and he can help. She glances at me with a nervous look in her eyes, so I stop my workout and politely tell the man that if she needs help, I’m sure she will ask. The man put his hands up and said “okay, sorry”, then walks away. The girl then looks at me with a sigh of relief and thanks me. I said “Sure, no problem”. Then I put my headphones back on and continue my pull ups. Not two seconds later, I get slugged on the back of my head, multiple times. I turn to defend myself and I see it’s the girl who I assisted! She knocks my headphones off and starts yelling “That’s it? You’re not even gonna talk to me me? Well fuck you!”! I literally didn’t know what to do. So I just stood there dumbfounded. All I could think of was to say “Hey, I’m sorry”. Then she grabs her bag and yells back “Whatever, Asshole”, as she storms off! As I’m standing there in shock, everyone starts laughing at me. Then some guy runs up, hugs me and says “Thanks, Man! That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen”! Afterwards, a group of girls using the cycles start hooting and obnoxiously blowing kisses me as I was trying to leave! People are nuts!
