Eli's arrangement of this was just outstanding. The only other one that he's done (pretty sure) is Eleanor Rigby, right after Earl left. In fact Earl left so abruptly that Eli had to record Earl's part. I hope we don't wait another three years for an Eli arrangement.

I don't miss Earl. He always sang the loudest & drowning everyone else out I feel he always had to be the center of attention. Your not supposed to drown everyone else out. Some songs call for his voice type but his loud high pitch was hurting my ears. Eli's voice is so much better. I love Eli.

I never cry in movies and seldom cry from music, but this song and their cover of "True Colors" get to me hard. I wanna hug Cesar. I can't imagine living in Florida right now as a gay man (especially gay Puerto Rican) with politicians stripping away your rights and whole mobs of people calling you a "creep." Geoff's line "I want a perfect body" also hits hard. He portrayed his body image issues in "I Love Me" but here it feels so vulnerable. I mean, the man DOES had a perfect body, perfect hair, perfect voice, perfect wife and kid... but body image struggles are harsh, and all the praise in the world isn't enough, as you think you need to keep up potentially dangerous lifestyles to keep that physique or else no one will love you anymore. I lost an aunt to this struggle, so it hurts to think Geoff deals with it too. In happier news, Eli and his wife are expecting a baby, and now he's writing arrangements again after 3 years. I'm so happy for him. I hope he writes more. His voice and Anthony's are the perfect yin-yang, his rock grit, Anthony's smooth riffs. They play off each other so well. I would love to hear a "riff off" between Anthony and J. None.

OMG, I was not aware that Geoff suffer from body dysmorphia. So hard to realize when he is so fantastic looking. Self image is so hard for some to reconcile, even for those you would never think would have such problems.

@@barbarakennedy2667 Most if us do actually. For a lot of us, our self definition is formed during our teen years. So whatever you are then, you tend to think you still are decades later. This is why fat folks can lose a lot of weight but never see themselves as slim. Or skinny boys can beef up and still see themselves as too skinny.

From someone who has been diagnosed with BDD (body dysmorphic disorder) I know how very difficult it is to not see yourself as anything but your flaws. I continually see myself as fat and I actually suffered from a horrible eating disorder that I still somewhat suffer from but not as badly. I started bodybuilding and that really helped me. But trust me, my husband tells me I'm not fat all the time but all I see when I look in the mirror is how fat I am. I'm glad Geoff, whom I greatly admire, has the courage to put his struggles out there even if they're veiled in lyrics because it helps me to know I'm not alone

This so phenomenally fantastic!! These guys can do anything and turn it into gold. Had to grab me a box of tissues for this one. Cesar killed it with his emotions and I feel he deserves a hug, Eli did amazing with this arrangement. I have no words. I mean They all put so many emotions into this song. I'M IN THE CREDITS! Ahem. Sorry, I only just managed to get into a situation where I could join that level of patronage for VoicePlay, and this is the first one my name is in!!!! I'll be honest, I've never liked this song. When I saw that this was going to be the first one with my name on, I was bummed. But what they did with it... I must now repent for ever doubting them, even for a second. Eli's arrangement is so dynamic, taking you through a whole emotional journey. And Cesar has been taking things to a whole new level it in the last couple of videos. This.. I FELT this. Something about just how deeply emotional the performance makes you feel the desperation of it. It just blew my mind. The image of them singing into the mirrors is brilliant. BTW, I've been lurking on your channel for a couple months now and I'm really sorry for not commenting before now. I have subscribed, though. Promise. Anyway, one of the things that I LOVE about this channel is that it doesn't feel like watching a reaction. You crack me up every time, but what I love most about it is your deep and true appreciation for good music.
