Recommendation! I recommend “I’m a criminal profiler, but not even I can explain the gruesome events taking place at Fever Cabin” or just “I’m a Criminal Profiler” It’s REAALLY interesting and I would love to hear your guy’s take on the story and especially the ending. It has the same feel as the left right game. very well written and has that gruff country perspective. Just putting this here for a better chance at y’all seeing it lol

Not always the case man. My ex wife got into a relationship a year or two (I assume) after we split up and he ended up being Terrible. So bad in fact she sent our son to stay with us for months while she worked up the courage to break it off with him. She had been getting abused and didnt say a thing out of fear. Basically what I'm saying is, just because mom and dad move on doesn't mean the new partner is necessarily good or "stepping up".

I don't care what anyone else says, but some of the best CreepCast bits come from Wendi and Hunter forgetting they're supposed to be reading a story and going on a weird tangent for 20 minutes. Also, this story reminds me of when I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and I was put on antipsychotics that genuinely made me feel like a zombie. I stayed on it for a couple of years despite how much I hated taking them because they helped me disassociate so I could cope with living in a pretty shitty situation at the time. The entire experience was a nightmare.

Then it tells the origin story, these high school graduates talk about how they have no drive to do anything really and dont know how to do better in life, so what do they do? "I dare you to ruin my life. If i know youre gonna keep trying to ruin my life, ill keep trying to do better to prevent it. Easy, right?" Its the exact thing hunter hates and is easily nitpicked. For example, the guy is saying hes about to die and needs to get this story out, then adds unnecessary details like that their conversation lasted an hour. Feel free to read it for yourself, im not saying its bad, its an entertaining premise, but hunter can be very critical and picky and unfortunately this story is everything he hates lol

The other similar story Wendigoon was thinking of for the first creepypasta is probably "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" by Harlan Ellison-- he made a video on the story. I've absolutely had experiences where 30 minutes felt like years, and I've been able to watch frame-by-frame TV. It almost sounds like this author has experience with LSD, and figured it'd make for a great premise to a story. He's not wrong. Or I remember literally rolling into my phone at the start of it, and being completely gone until my sister grabbed my chin and turned me to look towards her and i saw what appeared to be a looney toons tunnel of different colored versions of my sister consistently ducking out of the way, making it feel to my drug addled brain that i saw different versions of my sister in the multiverse break thru to my reality as I muttered "are you real". Each of those things feeling like they lasted for ages when they didnt last long at all. Wild feelings. Btw i regret none of this, best times of my life and learned more on acid than on adderall ill tell ya that

I experienced time dilation by smoking salvia. I disappeared into the galaxy, I joined time and space, and I thought I wasn't going to wake up. For 20 minutes I went to the edge of cosmos and became one with it. I thought I was gone, and all I could remember was the moment I closed my eyes and fell. I wasn't going to wake up, I was a quark working and churning as the universe continued on and I disappeared into that reality as if giving up. Gives me anxiety just thinking about it because I KNEW I wasn't waking up. Luckily I did.

What kind of struck me here was how well communicated the relationship between the father and daughter was in the second story. It's hard to pin down, but something about his word choice really resonated and communicated the father's love for Helen. It contrasts hard with The Tall Dog, where his daughter felt like an accessory (and whom he almost abandoned to the demon, like any good father's first instinct would be) and ultimately was only used as a vehicle for shock value.

@@misanthropicservitorofmars2116I can't remember what show it was in, maybe shameless but that was a storyline the character faked illnesses to get drugs from clinical trials or something, that or I made it up I'm not sure funny either way lmao

Yep, my neurologist said if sodium valproate doesn't treat my epilepsy, she's going to try get me into a test done at one of the best hospitals in my state. So it's definitely used as a form of treatment and not just random 'hey let's see if this wacky drug does things to u lol'

"'Please Shoot Me" is one of the best horror stories I've ever heard. The concept feels like a dream where you try to punch but it's in slow-mo. x1000000 It's the ultimate Hell and I'm all here for it.

I am glad Hunter made sure they uploaded good ones. I mainly listen to these for the Hunter and Isaiah banter, but a good story helps a lot. I feel like many of the recent stories have just been.... Bad.

That tractor shooting joke hit close to home lmao. My dad died from internal bleeding when the tractor he was on flipped over and crushed him,and afterwards his business partner took all the money and ran. Hunter really got that grindset going!

As someone who works in the pharma industry, this kind of sketchy, unchecked drug testing would never be allowed in the US unless it was some weird underground shit. A clinical trial wouldn’t reach human testing until investigators were well aware of the effects it would have and a drug like this would require close supervision and they would have never allowed the patient to go home, especially without informing them of important safety information such as drug interactions. All that to say, I’m suspending my disbelief because, man this was horrifying!! Loved the story!

as someone who has no relation to the pharma industry, i also found it odd how they just let him go. wouldn't they want to keep observing him to see how long it takes to wear off, or maybe how the effect intensifies/weakens, or such side effects as him breaking all his shit as he falls when he inevitably loses control of his body, since it should be taken into account if they plan on seriously using it for something. idk tho

I mean, the government themselves has a history of testing shit on civilians (usually minorities or people they don't like) without them or the public being aware of it, so it's not that unheard of lol.

In "My Patient Spent 8 Million Years Under a Bench at Glenmont Metro" the doctor explains that they had already been testing it and the effects were normally a small boost in brain power, but for some reason the drug affected this guy way harder, and he didn't know that the effects were still compounding. It's still dumb, as he knew the drug was more effective on him because of the tests they ran so he should've known to keep him at the office and observe him. At least the author addressed it I guess.

@a5tr4l going kinda crazy, crashout is kinda like meltdown ig So in this context, hunter was mad at the story, almost raging/raging about how bad the story is and also being exhausted and angry about the way the recording is going

in hunter's defense: from what i have seen/heard from paraplegic people, the thing they wish they could get back most is not the ability to walk but the ability to freely and easily go to the bathroom. the added challenges that come with having to go to the bathroom as someone who doesn't have control over their bowels or bladder is a bigger deal than many people think, so i honestly think in the scenario that hunter loses everything from the pelvis down (though it is different from being paralyzed) it would be pretty fair for him to draw the line of "is this worth it?" at whether or not he retains his butthole
