This author has a knack for going "oh you wanted a *resolution* to my deliberately open-ended tragic horror? You wanted an *explanation*? Oh I'll give you an explanation." And writing extremely hokey sequels. I cannot wait for y'all to read Borrasca 5.
@thecringeinspector5636

Many people criticize it because the story has a happy ending that feels almost unrealistic with how positive it is, which I completely understand. But in my personal opinion, it's perfect and exactly what I needed after going in blind like an idiot and unfortunately getting reminded of my own experiences with SA that I'm still trying to find better ways to cope with. I mentioned this already in a reply under the original video of Wendi and Hunter reviewing it but their lightheartedness yet seriousness surrounding the story and specific topic helped me a lot with getting through the whole story too and I appreciate them a lot for being so down-to-earth and amazing as human beings. Hope whoever's reading this has an amazing Christmas too btw!!! :) And a happy new year!!!!

It's even funnier with how much they and the community glazed this author for Borrasca at the start, only for it to devolve into something even schlockier and more poorly written than "Thing in the basement" or "My job is watching a woman trapped in a room." I was gonna comment this as well. I listened to the audio drama version and it is just as bad as this is. Maybe worse at times. Both of these stories are written for 2010s CW network.

@@iamgarrett5566 I would even say that the original ending to borrasca dips it’s toes into cringy anime villain territory when jimmy (?) explains his whole plan to the main character towards the end. I think the author has a hard time wrapping up loose ends in a way that doesn’t just blatantly spell it out. There are ways to subtly hint to the reader as to what is going on instead of a paragraph long exposition dump.
