My guess? A radio horror show that pretended to air an EAS message about a fictional scenario as part of the show, broadcasted tones similar to that of SAME EAS tones, at least similar enough for a few TV stations to recieve and interpret them as if they were SAME tones.

Whenever a radio broadcast or television program broadcasts the SAME headers, as you said, the equipment will mistakenly think it’s a real emergency alert, setting off a fake alert. A big-name television channel actually got fines for broadcasting the tones in an episode of “Young Sheldon”.

FutureGamingPro what part? Because this really did happen on the television last night in Orange County, California. The only fake part is that the world will end, because it will NOT. Definitely not on Saturday! But the message DID air on TV last night. Others have hacked television stations before just check the 80s Chicago Max Headroom Broadcast or the Message from the alien telling us all to beware on BBC so this doesn't really seem too strange to me. But again the world will not end on September 23, and even if it did, when it happened we wouldn't see it and it wouldn't matter once it happened, so....

I just got emergency alert on my TV I'm in Wisconsin so but my son was watching TV he said he heard a tornado siren when it was sunny outside me and my son did not get it we checked the whether and it said sunny till next Tuesday so idk how I got that alert.
