Seriously you're not crazy. Places can make people sick, crazy and even die. It's good you left. It got worse because they finally broke through your protections, like your guides had been protecting you but they were weakened through the repeated exposure that's why Lanna kept saying you have to leave and hearing alarm bells they were saying they couldn't hold it back much longer. When places have such severe energy it's incredibly hard to clear such things you generally need a professional and lots of ceremonies.
