I did a little resea4ch on it, scientists already a have a pretty good idea of what the core is all about. They used the seismic activity from earthquakes in order to get some imaging which allowed them to understand more about how the earth's core works. The core is made of two parts, iron-rich fluid outside, and solid inner core
