You wanna know what's really scary? The doll on the bicycle was actually giving her hints to leave the shop. First the doll rode past her towards the door as an indication to leave. Then, as Alma was reaching to touch the doll that resembled her, the doll on the bicycle kept hitting the door faster urgently warning her not to touch it :( It makes perfect sense now since the dolls cannot speak. So freaking scary. Thumbs up if you caught it the first time.

It was like a force or a black magic from the shop itself (it's kinda haunted in a way something like that) the one with bicycle wants to escape from that shop I guess and Alma on the other hand, is still figuring it out on what would happen to her inside. This is an independent film, and Dreamworks picked up the rights for a full-length feature film, but no recent word on the status of it at this time. It's not in either of the Pixar short films collections.

actually you kinda got the whole thing right i mean just look at them they look just like little kids that passed by and saw themselves as dolls in the shop thinking they were famous and who made them but when go in to touch them inside the shop they soon realize its a haunted doll shop that traps the kids into their dolls they wanted to touch and you know thats probably why all those names are written on the wall on the otherside they were names of very past children who got lured into the demon shop and whey they are captured the shop sets up another doll waiting for its prey to come in so the shop can keep its souls i guess it also explains why that boy on the tiny bicycle was trying to get out so his soul could be free but the shop closed the door and trapped it again only reason or question is why does it want all of those kids souls anyways soul collector

Very good. I like to watch spooky shorts, especially animated ones. So far, this is one of the best I've seen. I think it would have been a teeny bit better if, Alma was seen looking into the window from outside, then smiling a creepy, knowing grin. Maybe the 2nd doll's lookalike walks into the scene afterwards, sees the doll, and smiles in joy. Then it ends. I suppose, because I viewed it as the doll's soul changed placed with the girl's soul.

I watch this in 5th grade and we noticed that some of the dolls clothes are from the 80’s or very back back then, you see baby’s and other kids in the shop as dolls. The dolls eyes move and look at the girl because they are still alive but can’t talk, but they can move their eyes. I also noticed that shops design is shaped as a monster, the kid on the bicycle is trying to escape but the other dolls can’t because they are just still and can’t move their body but they can move their eyes. Fun fact: the new doll is the shops next victim :)
