OMG the exact same thing happened to me and my friends in Venice. We were on a school tour in Italy and were travelling on the water taxi in venice, it was hot out so we were all wearing shorts/skirts whatever. There was a group of middle aged men taking photos of our legs. We all knew what was happening and tried to cover ourselves with our bags. It was frustrating because the teachers didnt want to do anything about it because of the obvious language barrier. It's crazy how even though there were more girls than men, we still felt so vulnerable. It's disgusting how girls and women are treated like this. Even though its "just" a photo, you feel so violated because god knows where that photo will end up.

This happened to me when I went to the Lake District, I was wearing jeans and a cropped off the shoulder top so my belly and arms/shoulders were showing, not really exposing tbh, but I went in an antiques shop and the weird man behind the till was recording me walking around the shop and I noticed straight away I was like 16 at the time so I told my mum and my stepdad confronted him and he said he wouldn’t show his pictures and that he didn’t take any videos or pictures of me and it was so frustrating that we couldn’t take his phone and delete them. My step dad called the police because he wanted it deleted and knew he must have other girls on there, police found loads of pictures and videos of girls down to the age of 5, disgusting.
