It's kind of been forgotten to time but the OOT shark was actually a dig at the Gameshark which at the time was considered a nuisance to devs. That's also why it is in a weird pose, it's supposed to mimic the Gameshark logo.

That doesn't even make sense. If it was a dead shark it'd make some sense, but a shark in general means nothing.

Just a note to remember. EVERYONE working on Cyber punk 2077 wanted it to succeed, they were unethically crunched and abused by their higher ups. I'll be honest, I actually really enjoyed Silent Hill Downpour. It's very obvious the game was undercooked, what with the performance issues and half-baked mechanics. But it was going in a good direction. It had a rather well-grounded story, combat that was intuitive enough to function, but just clunky enough to suggest fighting everything might not be the best option. The more open-ish world exploration and progression was a good idea and the optional side-quests/stories added extra optional depth to the experience. If it got more time, it may have been much better received. And the biggest shame is that it has no modern ports. I'd love if the devs and Konami would put it out on PC and make the source code available and let the community go ham with it, maybe even turn it into the experience it was always meant to be.

Hey, I love your videos a lot! Your conversational tone combined with the fact that you seem to actually fact check your videos before they go out leads to a high quality! If you ever done another one of these, you might consider the secret jumpscare in World of Horror. In fact, it's the only jumpscare in the whole game and happens if you alt tab out of the game, but only a small chance of it popping up. It displays the "evil twin" of your character's eccentric but harmless neighbor who AFAIK only appears in that jumpscare and a normal scare when you see him peeking at you through your door's peephole.

Fallout DID build on the Dunwich mystery with Fallout 4 and the Dunwich Borers location. There is more to the story, but it's still mostly as unclear as it always was. Just some new connections and tidbits.

The fallout 4 dunwich part was unnecessary and just added enormous amount of unanswerable questions like existence of magic and eldritch beings in fallout canon. F3 dunwich was a fun easter egg but it didnt need expanding
@kathydina36467 күн бұрын
Not only that, but in Fallout 3 Point Lookout, they added a side-quest where they allude to a cult and its connections to the Dunwich company and local communities prior to the war. Also, less known is the tabletop game of Fallout 4 that uses another obelisk as the center for the Children of Atom splinter group in its story. There's a fun mod that adds an adaptation of that story into the console game. Ya can probably also add the Interloper from Fallout 76, as that lesser eldritch being also had a cult devoted to it in the abandoned mines of Appalachia. The earlier Fallouts, prior to Fallout 3, also had supernatural stuff going on, but the Lovecraft stuff I'd say is after the third game.

I came back, legit thought I was being attacked, as I was unaware of the easter egg, got my controller in hand and readied the camera and... poof. It's gone. I learned about the easter egg the hard way. Scared me quite a bit. As for the Dark Souls one, I was given a heads up as soon as I got to that section. I might have gotten a worm, I can't remember, I just remember a friend told me to use the item if I ever got attacked by the parasite guys.

6:37 actually yeah, I used to play that game with my dad when I was like 6 and I loved it, even if it isn't scary, at all, in the absolute slightest. It's obviously a game with major flaws, specially when it first released (like it was practically unplayable at release and it's still not much better today), but I still personally loved it, it introduced me to SH and I have many fond memories of playing it, hell I might just my old 360 repaired so I can play it again. Although maybe I just have a habit of having bad games be my introduction to franchises, my first RE game was 6 (Not to say that I like it, RE6 sucks). Edit: Also Hitman Absolution was also my first hitman game and the one that got me hooked on the series, got it on steam for like a dollar recently and already have like 30 hours :)

The Hitman 3 secret ending isn't really that scary, it's depressing in the context of Agent 47 basically being reset to who he was in the original game but that's it. Scary secrets in the trilogy would be the hippo in Berlin, the possessed mannequin in Miami and Helen West's basement in Whittleton Creek.

Honestly since you wanted Silent Hill confessions while Downpour isn't my fav title I will say I do like it quite a bit more than one of the Team Silent entries ie: Silent Hill 4: The Room. That game's graphic are a huge downgrade from previous entries, it has badly thought out mechanics and the story feels more like a 14 year old's Silent Hill 2 fanfic than an official entry in the franchise. The apartment hauntings are the one and only redeeming quality that game has while Downpour just overall did more cool things throughout its entire runtime.
