Keep your head up! My mom is 50 n just finishing nursing school with no husband or bf. Love is weird, you can’t capture it like a butterfly. Everyone has their own timeline n it may feel pointless when u wait so long for something but you can’t think like that.

Wow, firstly may God continue to bless and heal you. I resonate so much with you about the feeling of brokenness towards love and wanting to escape to an island just complete disconnect and acceptance that I am “unloveable” or “um-understable”. That’s simply not true and the island we seek of peace and total love is the presence of the Lord. I’m sorry for your loss as well and we can take it all day by day- no one is perfect. God didn’t call us to be perfect, he placed us here to grow in the word (as a soul having a human experience) have faith, and try to shine his love and light to others through it all. The best is always yet to come for the Lord cares for us and wants to honor our hearts. Walk by faith and not by sight.

I’m trying to find my faith on this journey. I started praying and soon after my fiancé told me he wasn’t in love with me and didn’t want the family life with my son and myself. I’m the definition of heartbroken. I cannot eat, sleep, think right. I’m filled with hurt and fear and shock. I have 2 months to move and find a new home. I did not see this coming and with this economy it’s scary to afford anything and stay above water. I’m unsure if prayer will carry me through as I was just trying to discover it.

Due to them turning on God and my little guy Nicholas who has down syndrome 3 holes in his heart fluid on his brain spinal cord injury and just learning to walk but delays in his physical therapy due to this virus. He is going to be 21 I. December but is still my little guy due to his growth delay He is truly the best blessing of all my lfe! God is good! This is the day our Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it! Praise God!

Pastor Dollar, you just mentioned about Job loosing everything. His children his livelihood etc. Well.. so did I. I lost my husband to lust my children to lies of their earthly father then watching them turn on God because of their earthly father. I lost my family homestead due to my husband giving it away. I lost my only means of transportation due to my husband calling a junk car lot and giving it away. I lost my 6week old baby boy just before his first Christmas. I lost my only I income because my husband is living with his girlfriend. I lost all my Christian sisters and brothers because I left my husband due to emotional mental sexual and physical abuse ( my best Christian girlfriend said Jesus said to turn the other cheek). I could go on and on but what's the use. My husband said I'm gonna burn in hell. I pray and have hope God who is all love will deliver this note to you and Pastor Taffi. Sister, you have been through a lot. What I’ve realized after going through a distressing situation is that to share our pain with trusted others to be prayed for. James 5:16 encourages us to confess to each other and pray in order to receive healing, but I believe that verse also implies that we share our heart break situation with someone who can pray with you. Sometimes when you so distressed, you just don't have the strength and time to seek God. So the other person can help and do that for you. You need the joy of the Lord in a daily basis to get your strength, but if you are in a crushing situation and is not able to maintain your relationship with God, then you will feel that you are not progressing anywhere. And the more you don't spend time with God, you move far from God. `Therefore, you need someone to encourage you that God is with you even if you feel that nothing is happening. Ephesians 4:29 tells us to build someone up with our words. And that is what I mean here. Even Job at least had his wife to support him when he went through pain, grief and loss. Although she sort of challenged Job at some stage. I am sorry to hear that you even lost your Christians friend, but God can still bring the right people to you so don't lose hope. One important thing that most Christians still don't realize is that the challenges we face are different. And so, our friends give advice to us based on what they have been through without knowing that you need a different sort of approach to what is theirs. God has a successful plans for your life. It is not the same as the one he had for Job, he has for your friend or even me. My point is: God has a strategy in place for you to get healing, which the Holy Spirit will show you through conviction, dreams or from other people. I pray that the Holy Spirit is going to direct you to the right people, or bring the right people to you, who are going to build you up, as you continue to trust in the Lord and hold unto his promises until you are completely healed.
