I taught this in my church years ago. It freed people to give more out of a sense of worship and gratitude as opposed to obligation. Spend time making disciples instead of church members you’ll never have to teach on giving or raise funds to fix the a/c in the church. Members tithes out of obligation, disciples give freely from the heart.

There are 3 types of tithes, which the video below will explain. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5qqdqefe8x2g80 The error many of these 'don't tithe' or 'give your tithes to the poor' preachers make is in just plucking out Bible verses that mention the word "tithe" and *WRONGLY INTERPRETING THEM* as applying to every tithe. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Please WATCH THIS VIDEO so you understand the context of the tithing verses these pastors are wrongly interpreting. *PLEASE* 😢 Don't fall into error. God said "Get wisdom. Get understanding" "My people suffer and are destroyed for lack of knowledge". Lazy, armchair microwave Christianity is why so many are deceived into doctrinal errors. You are given Bible verses which you don't know the context of. Who here really understands what the *SECOND TITHE* is? Yet people's greed make them blindly follow false teachings about the second tithe mentioned in Dueteronomy 14. Here's why! James 1:14-15 "but each person is tempted when they are *dragged away by their own evil desire* and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." 2 TIMOTHY 4:3-4 "For the time will come when *they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears* ; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables...and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable doctrines" The solution is very simple! Do what God asked you to do and SACRIFICE THE TIME TO LEARN THE TRUTH! Are you too busy to learn the truth about tithing as explained in this video series? So you want to ignore these instructions from God in Deuteronomy 11:18-22a "Bind these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 *Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up* 20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, 21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.22...carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow-to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to Him..." and Joshua 1:9 "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; *meditate on it day and night,* so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." And ALL of Psalm 119? Really?! Why? Please watch the video. God bless you as you do so, in Jesus name. Amen.

Thank God for men of God like Bro Creflo, who have the boldness to stand and admit to error in their teachings. I can guarantee there are many who have gotten this same revelation but will not come out and admit for fear of losing members. The Gospel of Grace is simple. Take away the conditions of the law and it is easier to understand Grace. Pastor Joseph Prince said some words that has helped me to understand Grace better: THE LAW DEMANDS. GRACE PROVIDES. In the law, you were required/demanded to love, be holy, be righteous, have faith, tithe etc. Under Grace, the love of God has already been given to us, we are born again holy, we are righteous, we have faith already. The same with the tithe. Abram did it without the law, meaning there was no condition attached to his tithing. We follow the same. Tithe, but do not put any conditions to it. Hope that blesses somebody.

While tithing is an old testament theme, be not fooled or perplexed, it's your heart In your giving that God has always been after. Even in the law to the Jews he has desired and called for their honor in their giving, so even in the set standard of tithing and offerings, God desired most their heart. From the first act of giving between Cain and Abel, it was able who pleased the Lord, with giving the best and fastest of his flock, his giving was from a pure heart, and heart the desired to honor God for what he has given. And now we are not the product of the Law, but He who fulfilled the Law, and His Spirit that guides us as new creations in Christ. So our giving is done with a heart of Thanksgiving and trust in God's provisions for us. Being led by the Spirit to always give God our best, not based on our ability, but by His Spirit we give our best to God...always.

Wrong! Amen.

Exactly. And just to add, be careful of pastors who are unwilling to bend and change when the Lord reveals something different to what they believe and have taught for years. I respect Creflo, man. I remember I used to listen to him for years after I got born again in 2000. I grew a bit spiritually and I got the revelation on Grace. When I listened to him, I found that we were no longer aligned in our thinking, so I stopped listening to him around 2010. I listened to him again around 2017 and I saw he was also preaching Grace and I was happy about that and started listening to him again. This tithing doctrine is the second time I heard him change and embrace a new major revelation. I cannot emphasize enough how much of an impact that makes on me.

It’s so nice to hear him preach this because he is one of those preachers that is known for collecting money and being a hindrance in the Christian walk due to the push of tithing and giving to the church which tends to make nonbelievers believe that ministers and pastors and evangelist are money driven so to hear him preach the opposite and put correction into even what he believed at one time shows you that he’s a man after gods heart and that’s a beautiful thing to see in this day and age when money is worshiped by non-believers and believers and the correction is needed and it shows that he has greater love for God than he cares about his flesh or to be right and showing his congregation that he’s human shows how much he knows he needs God and that’s a beautiful thing I’m very impressed with the service coming from him because I cannot lie I was turned off by pastors who preached about money so much and yet gave so little to help others so do you hear this service it really restored my faith in him as a pastor and to know that God can touch anyone if they’re willing to be corrected

I have struggled with the subject of tithing also. Now I love the Lord, but I have struggled financially and seen my mother struggle. But we always tithed. I found myself starting to feel resentful and even stopped tithing because I am like, something is wrong here, why can't I get ahead in life? Then I noticed that I have always tithed under fear. I don't want to have a closed heart and hand. I want to be a cheerful giver. And I know I am no longer under the curse. Most preachers won't preach this because it will threaten the amount of money coming into their church. So now I will start asking the Lord what he wants me to give. We love you Pastor Dollar 🙏

Tithing is a principle I’ll continue to stand on. I’ve been practicing these for decades and it works for me. God gives me enough to tithe AND give, with my ALL my bills still being paid. By the wisdom of God I was able to pay off a brand new car ($26,000) in 7 months. Paid off my son’s car ($23,000 in TWO WEEKS, stock market). All this while tithing. No husband, boyfriend, and side piece, just Him. He provides.

That’s not everyone’s story. So for those who this does not happen to, they are somehow bad Christians. They don’t use Faith. Somethings wrong with them. I suggest that somethings wrong with the people who perpetuate the Malachi 3 is for Christians teaching and just how harmful this really is. Especially when regular folks obey this teaching and struggle financially while the watch rock star preachers get extravagantly wealthy and even brag about it.

One of the things my Mom taught me was to study the bible for yourself. Never believe everything you hear over the pulpit or from anyone. If it cannot be backed up by scripture, it can be tested. I have never allowed anyone to tell me that God won't bless me if I don't tithe or how much I should give when it comes to giving. Who is getting rich off the tithes? Pastors have mistreated the people and made them feel guilty if they can't afford to tithe or give to the church. I do tithe and I do give to my local church but I refuse to sow into TV ministries

I've always wondered why there was no requirement of tithing in the book of Acts & other New Testament books. In the early days of the church people gave more abundantly than tithing - even selling their goods out of gratitude to God.

Yes, he did confess...but why? Was/Is it because he got caught or because he is genuinely apologetic? Sometimes we apologize, repent because we hot caught like a deer in headlights. Other times we repent because we are genuinely sorry. I do, however, appreciate his confession. That let's me know he is actually aware of his error. He says if we give according to the law (something he taught) we are not giving by faith....and then, he puts forth the idea that when we give by faith, we will give even more abundantly than when we gave the exact 10%. So, if you listen closely, he condemns his congregation for giving according to the law (which he taught them to do) and encourages them to give under "the Gospel of Grace" and by faith...meaning give more, doesn't have to be the tithe the law talks about. Thus, he ends up with more money than was coming in before. So, it's not a true repentance. It's a way of fooling people into giving more money.
@monique_dannigirl71112 жыл бұрын
@@audreyjones5939 I think his "Revelation" is way more deeper than WHAT he has said. He may even have been shown a crossroads between Heaven & Hell. He may have even been shown the RAPTURE..He may have shown Matthew 24:40-41 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left..
