The Lord God Almighty bless pastor Dollar. Thank you for always bringing the word of God to us the way you do. I must admit, I am drawn to the way you preach... Perhaps due to the fact that growing up I looked up to celebs like Eddie and Richard, stand up comedians, that had me a South African trying to speak like an American. We didn't have the tech we have now. The best we had was the Walkman. Listening thru them made sure you hear every word. I wish it was the real Word I listened to back then. Nevertheless God had His plan for me. All of the jokes and stories from these comedians were etched in my memories. Today when I listen to your sermons I thank God for your style. It's something that resonates with me. And I'm glad you took the high road preaching the word. Not that I'm pulling down entertainers.... Everything has its place. I just thank God Almighty that He changed so much just for me. I was born into a catholic family... But walked away before confirmation.... I wanted to know more about God that I wasn't able to understand where I was at that point. That never happened... I just lived until I was invited to a so called happy clappy church.... And then the show began.... Praise Jesus!!!! And it's still going on. Hallelujah!!? Difficult as it is, I'd still choose it again cos I know now for sure at the end it's all gonna be worth it. And it's because of great men like yourself that took heed to that call and didn't give up, just so that, without you even knowing it, people like me wouldn't give up too. Thank you Jesus for pastor Dollar and family. You're man like us and could have given into the flesh so easily but you didn't Thank you sir for holding on and helping us to do the same by the preaching of God's word by His Holy Spirit. I pray we have name tags or something when we get home cos I'm not sure if I'd recognize you up there cos I know we gonna have new bodies... But just that you know I'm gonna come looking for you just to thank you personally and give you a great big hug.
