I'm with you! I LOVE La Mer and have used it for 10 years, I also use prescription Retin A full strength and have for over 8 years. That said, it's the only skin care, especially when my skin barrier is broken, that I can use as I have very sensitive skin. Honestly it's the only moisturizer I can use that doesn't burn my skin when the barrier is compromised and believe me I've tried them all. I will always use the creme de la mer, the eye cream, the soft cream, the concentrate, the foundation AND the radiant skin tint broad spectrum. I love them all and make no apologies about it! Thanks for all you do!

Great video. My favorite La Mer products are the creme de la mer moisturizing cream (use it every night), the eye concentrate, the soft fluid foundation and the loose powder.

Great video and so timely as I am just starting on La Mer. When you said the cream goes well with Retin A I was nodding my head. I don’t know why it works but it does for more mature skin. I am looking forward to trying the eye cream you mention.

I love the cream, I’ve probably bought five in the last two years, each one last me about five months. Every time I try something else my skin test does not feel as buttery soft as it does when I use La Mer!

Hi: I have used La Mer Treatment Lotion for years and have never heard it described as a hyaluronate product. It is more the broth componate that makes this special but yes........it is an essence of sorts and I do well with that step. LOVE creme de La Mer......again, have used for years and it is a staple. Always and only at night .........have used many jars. :) Thank for a good review.

I know, it's because hyaluronate is a recent buzz word, but it is in the ingredients! Just like Estee Lauder Night Repair has niacinimide and other peptides...and has for over 30 years, but it was never part of their marketing because they weren't considered buzz word ingredients back then, even though they worked!!

I hope it works for you, I’m a little afraid the sample won’t be enough. I wasn’t that impressed until after a couple of weeks, and then people were starting to comment on my skin. And now I notice if I stop using.

chipchoc 00 I definitely think they have some great products! Let’s start with maybe just a 1 ounce jar of the Creme de las Mer if you have drier or normal skin, maybe the soft cream if you have oilier our skin and see how that works for you.

Lisa Monique Beauty it’s at high end department stores and Sephora website. Biossance (eye cream was great) so was the volition gel for the face. I do get a lot of skincare products from Sephora to review and test. Let me know if you try the Sulwhasoo what all he hype is about lol

Lisa Monique Beauty I’ve been the opposite and am always trying stuff. It’s like I just can’t continue to use the same thing over and over because it stops working as good. The few things that I have consistently rebought and use have been my ABH brow pencils, sol d’janeiro products, nivea, no 7 and serums. I love the rice polish from Tatcha and the dewy mist but so expensive I only buy twice a year during the VIB sales at Sephora.

I can't imagine spending that amount of money on a face cream where the top ingredients are mineral oil and glycerin. As for the seaweed, Mario Badescu makes a great, affordable seaweed night cream so for those on a budget, it is worth a try.

Nicole K A lot of people can’t, I can’t bear the thought of buying another Genaissance eye cream. But for some of us, it is so worth it. I’ve tried a lot of other creams they are not the same. It’s not worth it for me to risk going backwards on my skin care at my age. It’s kind of like I was told by my husband I could buy a luxury car, but when it came down to it, I could not buy a Mercedes or Lexus, paying twice as much, I ended up with a Honda! We all have our priorities😘

None of their products are worth the price for the ingredients to me. I think it is just a status product.

Of course it is! All luxury brands are that way. Just like a Mercedes vs a Honda! Or a Louis Vuitton vs a Coach bag. But if you get the results you want and can afford it, its easier than trying a bunch of other products just to try and get similar results...because I have found close, but not the same 😉
