Here's what I learnt about twist outs: You know how caucasians sleep in dutch braids or do one after they wash their hair and take it out and go? Curly- coily hair types use twists. I thought it was a complicated thing to wear my hair down but it's really not. We're just too uptight. It doesn't have to be perfect. Her's is lovely because it looks so effortless yet beautiful. 👏🏽👏🏽

I currently use d knot away leaving detangler which i hv used for few months now and I love it as well. Themed with my moisturiser it keeps my hair moisturised for days which doesn't happen very often.

I have the same hair type and texture as you and really struggle with detangling effectively. I feel combs just rip out my hair, but at the same time, finger detangling is ineffective for me. Plus, once it dries and comes out of twists, it retangles as though I didn’t spend about 6 hours drenching it in conditioner and detangling it and I’m really lost. Any advice?

I totally understand your frustrations. I tend to have issues with knots & tangles, but postpartum shedding has taken it to the next level, resulting in hours of detangling, which I don’t have time for. So I’ve switched things up a bit. I now stretch my hair every night and lightly finger detangle, whilst moisturising. Also I wash in twists 💯 and it’s really been helping. I also have a video on how I detangle if you wish to check it out bit.ly/2xvEjQe But it might be worth trying the Knot Away leave-in, it worked wonders for my hair. Hang in there!

I have done with other products in the past, but where I’m going through Postpartum shedding, the knots & tangles have been crazy! 😩 So keeping my hair in twists during wash day, really helps with detangling.

The twisting cream has been my life 😍 It's not expensive (like shae) and it's moisturizing af. It's perfect for me. Perfect perfect! I use cantu custard as a gel. It's moisturizing and foes the job. Eco dries my hair.

I buy this brand last month I buy shampoo conditioner and mask Shampoo is very nice sulfate paraben and silicone free but it’s very soft and not agressif but I don’t like the conditioner and mask looks and feel very hydratation product but it’s really don’t hydrate your hair too much I don’t like I don’t buy again my hair it’s not like this it’s more smooth it’s wavy curl but this mask and conditioner don’t do anything for my hair so I will buy again shampoo only .

Honestly all of the products have dimethicone. Its low in the ingredients list though so less likely to build up as easily as long as you dont use it every day and you're shampooing regularly.
