Well I’m in the Caribbean (Barbados🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧🇧) and these are my low budget go to. I’m low porosity and 4c type. Agreed on the Detangler, not really a hit, but the Shampoo, Leave in, Mask and Curl Activator are great on my hair! I’ve got my mom on it as well, but her hair is high porosity and a 3b? Lol but what she uses is the Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave in & Curl Activator. Since the Curling Jelly came out after the full line I’ve yet to try it but these products work great! Great for color treated hair as well, as I’d transitioned from that using these same products, helps colour to last much longer. I’m done raving now 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

Oooh. Is it that much coconut oil? For example I tried the shea moisture coconut oil leave it with coconut oil. Then I did my edges and a few twists with the coconut eco styler.. let me tell u.. it was a disaster. But so far, the twisting cream from this line has been excellent for me 🤷🏿♀️

I take different meds which can add to hair loss, no edges on the side and bald spots. If you can’t find anything to help your scalp/hair loss issue, speak with a medical professional. It just may be a health or skin condition and not the products. But what cleared my scalp and helped my hair was Selsun Blue moisturizing shampoo, it’s made for scalp itchiness/inflammation and whatnot. Maui Moisture curl quench conditioner. Camille Rose Honey leave in conditioner and Camille Rose moisture milk.

We need to establish exactly how Silicones effect the hair, because the ingredient is ground breaking for natural hair types, specifically for the detangling properties. I’m not worried because I know a good clarifying shampoo will remove it but I do worry about how it effects the application of leave-ins and natural oils before the next wash day. Are these products still able to absorb into the hair as normal or does the Silicone create a barrier?

To the point now that if i wash my hair when its open my hair will literally matt together as long as it's wet... and then to detangle takes me like a week. Im type 4b. .. the strand itself is fine... i havent relaxed or put heat or dyed my hair in years. Im not sure why the quality of my hair is deteorating over time. I sleep w satin cap, i eat balanced... but my hair just loves to matt like dreadlocks... Ive seen some people say to keep the hair braided for a couple months in order to let the hair grow, however, when i do so the matting is so bad that i lose more hair. I recently bought some expensive keratin shampoo, conditoner and masks w argan oil and jamaican black castor oil, washed my hair and it felt nice when product was in.. but as soon as it was washing out the matting was terrible! I oil my hair every few days also w a mixture of olive oil, castor oil, avocado oil, tea tree, peppermint, rosemary, and carrot essential oils... i dont know what else to do... Can u help?
