That took 7 clicks? This is why I have this love-hate relationship with Creo.

Renaming sketcher datums is not the kind of thing people do every day. But if that's too much for you, you can add the Model Properties button to your Quick Access Toolbar (like I have) or make a Mapkey. But in the age of social media, I find it interesting that people complain about clicks so much like they are in short supply. People will be on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Reddit, Pinterest, Discord, Threads, etc., and then complain about clicks.

@@CADPLMGuy Sorry Dave but if I am paying thousands of $$ for a software, I think I have right to criticize it. Also, I would prefer finishing my work quicker, just like the rest of the world.

You have a right to complain. I, though, also have a right to find some complaints a bit of a stretch. Let me ask you this: how often do you use this command? What is an acceptable number of clicks? Are you using the tools within the software to speed up your workflows?

@@CADPLMGuy I have never used this command and probably never will. I was trying to point out to my general experience with Creo. Recent example is, creating an arc slot. Think about all the hoops you gotta jump to get to there. In any other CAD, I used to: 1. Arc 2. Offset both direction with capped ends. The fact that we still don’t have this in Creo even after feature requests back in 2014 is somewhat concerning to me. That might be one of the reasons why user base is shrinking.

Are you talking about the Arc Racetrack that has been available in the Shapes tab of the Sketcher Palette like for the past 20+ years?
