More power to y'all on trimming back crepe myrtles. I had to let that go a couple of years back, and I don't miss it one bit. Keep up the great work.

I know you had to do it because that's what the customer wanted, I'd have done the same thing and have many times. But I just want to say that Crepe Myrtle trees can be beautiful if they are planted in the right place and allowed to grow into the tree they can be 25 to 30 feet tall with trunk in excess of 12 inch diameter. Lots of landscaping contractors make very poor choices of what kinds of trees to plant on newly constructed sites. Most of them plant trees in areas way to small for the plant and lots of times way to close to buildings. I've got a client who had a new house built about 20 years ago. The contractor put one of those Crepe Myrtle trees about 3 feet away from the house corner in front yard and it had to be butchered like that every year to keep it off the house. I finally convinced the client to let me dig it all up and plant one of those evergreen pencil trees. Everybody's happy with that now because it looks great, is very low maintenance and probably won't get large enough to touch the house in 50 years. Another thing about those Crepe Myrtle trees is they are high maintenance wherever they are planted. They drop lots of messy flowers and leaves. The roots tend to run the surface and send up sucker shoots here and there too. I only like them in a large enough mulched area to allow them to grow into the tree they are meant to be. But hey we are in this for the money so cut em like they ask!

You are 100% correct on that. We have 1 property that has 4 of them planted in a large circle inside of a key shaped driveway that is well mulched and they are beautiful but I personally don't care for crepe myrtles. Thanks for watching and for commenting

I wasnt sure how well it would work but the zt7000 actually hauled it loaded no problem! I thought it would get light in the front but never did even on hills! lol We'll get her talking more eventually. Thanks for watching!

Hi Why did they not want you to remove debris ? Those piles are going anywhere for long time
@AmericanLawnSpecialists Жыл бұрын
The debris has been hauled off. We had some other things that needed to be cleaned up on this property so they were cool with us making I pile and hauling it off later. This allowed us to come in with a much bigger trailer and haul things off at one time.

What size trailer do y’all pull?
@AmericanLawnSpecialists2 жыл бұрын
Our current trailer is a 7x14 but are looking at upgrading later in the winter to a 7x18
