I love your lahn you have customized, she is very beautiful. I play for over a year on BDO, I have a witch 56. This game is really fantastic, sublime graphics and there is much to do. You have probably seen that the departure with Olvia has been removed. I find it a shame because I like the village of Olvia. Happy new year 2019.

I do love my lahn ;) I had wondered about playing a witch (as well as sorceress), since I like magic users, but I'm pretty happy that I went with lahn. Maybe one day I'll try out a witch too? I agree about BDO, it's a fantastic game, even if small things bug me every now and then (grammar, I'm looking at you). I'm quite sad that Olvia has been removed as the starting point - I thought it was a lovely little town, perfect for starting in. Happy New Year to you too!

@Aki Ami Masen Sorry, Aki! I didn't see your post until now! The map is pretty big, but I guess it seems larger than it is, given there's no fast travel, so you have to travel everywhere on foot or horseback, which can seem tedious, and make journeys seem longer than they really are. Buying houses isn't really the same as in other games - you can buy furniture to make it look pretty, but mostly it's just for in-game buffs to your character, rather than appearance. There is no marriage or relationship mechanic in this game. As for the length of the game...uh, that's a tough question to answer. I've easily sunk over 100 (or is it now 200?) hours into the game. But if you're looking for a game with a good main plot and decent side quests, I wouldn't recommend this game. Although I have not played FFXIV, it *is* part of the FF franchise, so I daresay the quests there might be better. Or Elder Scrolls Online.

Also, on another vid you said you would cut character creation in future mmo content... Don't! So, I started watching this today and was like hey lemme sub and start watching this whole series, seeing a new player in a mmo and learning from them would be fun to watch. A bit later when you were talking about the Lahn and you mentioned the blades of chaos, I then realised that you have played God of War (my favourite game) and are a gamer with knowledge of really good titles. @@mishkarae Graphics, Good Combat feeling, good PVE, beautiful map design (cities, places), good character customization. It should give the player like a great Role Play feeling, you know. I never played any of these. Just read comments on BDO that ESO is better and they dont like BDO. Not sure why.

I just started BDO yesterday for the same reason as you and I never tried an mmorpg before this for the same reasons u mentioned 😅 I watched the Chinese series Love O2O and it made me want to play an mmorpg and I was also more excited by being able to make my own character [I love the skin tone ranges] 😁 I chose Corsair cuz mermaid lol 😆

If you really like story I would also highly recommend Final Fantasy XIV. The base game story is awful but as soon as you get to the expansions it will be one of the best stories you've ever experienced.

Uh, I'm not entirely certain what they were at this point in time. I had an Nvidia GeForce 1050 Ti? 16GB RAM... something, something, something? 😅 Sorry, that's not much help, I know. It was a refurbished HP I bought on ebay, with a new graphics card I had put in.
