Ugh, letting a diesel ( or any engine ) idle is a waste of fuel, especially on a 90 *F day. Even in colder weather, we have modern starters / batteries to get things going. It isn't like we are having to hand crank a gas powered pony motor that acts as a starter motor for the main engine. Or start the diesel on gasoline then switch to diesel. ( See " International UD-18 Power Unit start and run. Start on Gas and switch to Diesel. " on channel Farmall Doctor The change over occurs at 1:15 , yes, there are spark plugs and a carb on this diesel. )

I really like how you guys are covering the road trip and time in the pits more than the actual racing, it shows the stuff the racing media like 1320Video and the livestream don't show. Don't get me wrong I like seeing that but I also like this too.

All the money in the world doesn't fix stupid. All these people didn't win the lottery, they made a huge effort in running a business or collecting many sponsors. I've participated in / crewed / crew chiefed / been associated with most forms of auto racing up to low level pro. While there are big numbers flying around, everyone I've dealt with still works to a barely adequate budget. Rich is relative, there are those in the world that look at everyone on this page as rich because they have a computer, internet and electrical service.

Driving in a straight line is my least favorite thing to do in a car- but this series is very entertaining- I also love the cresta- they were never sold in my country so I have never seen one- makes for an interesting combo of exotic and conservative
