I LOVE how you share information- informative but non judgmental if so any viewers have other opinions. Great job (by the way, we have the same opinion about cutting crested gecko eggs).

I have never had eggs to cut. I probably wouldn't unless the egg was too calcified for the baby to hatch on its own.

I have a clutch mate that hatched 3 days ago, egg was larger than the one that hasn't hatched yet. I was going to let it go for another month, but it has molded now. :( ; I used a wet paper towel wipe the mold off, but not sure that it is still viable at this point. Have you ever had an egg mold and hatch later? Kind of bummed because the other 3 eggs of this pairing have a very unique look, so it sucks to lose it if that has happened.

We’ve had some rough looking eggs still hatch

I only ever cut eggs that are overly calcified other than that I don’t

That's one thing that puzzled me about BP community. You would think cutting every egg is allowing weak genetics into the gene pool. I guess I'm ignorant to the full idea or reason behind BP egg cutting though

Yea it’s a bit deeper actually But still similar to crested geckos as well For example a lot of current crested geckos will most likely not survive in the wild but don’t think that’s weak genetics as much as they are simply generational pets
