Honda Elevate is a handsome car and no frills. As they said, the suspension is stiff. I felt that for an elegant car, it should've had softer suspension and definitely should've had an insulated cabin. It's quite loud in cabin which feels down market. But yes, reliable. Resale maybe lower value. Why such a formal car if it doesn't want to be an SUV. Sirf ground clearance se SUV status achieve kar rahe hai. I was disappointed because I really wanted to lock that car.

@@AJAYSINGH-iv9gt astor base model doesn't have any power.. you will feel driving an i10 most of the times.. you can consider kausaq 1.0 too.. can take test drive.. but for city traffic.. consider a hybrid car like grand vitara or similar.. you will get mileage of around 15-17 in city.. but i guess you budget won't allow.. i have stayed in dwarka and gone to gurgoan most cars give very less mileage.. but ya with drawka expressway things will be much better.. but you willl drive in delhi too.. most cars will give mileage of 9-11 in delhi city.. also petrol prices increase by 5% every year.. so by next 5 years petrol will cost around Rs 130-140 per liter..

why not go for taigun or kausaq 1.5 engines( they have 2 cylinder deactivation) so give mileage of around 18-20 on highway .. 20-25% more then any other petrol turbo due to ACT technology. with amazing torque.. xuv 700 mileage is like 5-7 in city and 10-11 on highway.. while seltos is around 14-15 on highway..

well 22lakhs you will get featureless model for both XUV 700 or jeep compass.. if you can increase budget to around 25.. also jeep compass and virtus gt ground clearance is same.. so you can get virtus gt dsg top model for the price.. if you still want an suv .. then scorpio n will give more features for that budget.. also scorpio is RWD while both compass and XUV 700 are FWD. RWD cars are better suited for Suv frames and give better power and stability. XUV 700 has AWD for that but it is very expensive. Also you will be able to find a 4x4 scorpio for that budget.

@@badgotra.manoj47 well jeep sales are so low nowadays that it is difficult to recommend such car.. espically if you are not living in a metro city, well they will launch a car at Rs 13 lakh range in 2025 maybe.. but if that also fails then Jeep may exit indian market altogether..most usa brands already left india due to low sales.. and then you may also not get a resale value.. if you are Jeep compass like cars.. also test drive Taigun or kausaq 1.5 Dsg models... although automatic and petrol.. they provide good mileage due to ACT technology only available with VW.. and should have enough power for your needs.. if you can afford XUV 700 AWD then that is the best bet.. you can also consider top model for seltos with Adas... turbo petrol but mileage will be low as it doesn't have ACT like the VW twins. As a option test drive MG Hector Sharp Pro 2.0 Turbo Diesel too...

If you go by KZbin comments no one can beat VW/skoda but In real life scenario kushaq+taigun combined 5 month sales= 1 month sales of creta. That's an utterly wrong perception that people only go after features and those cars are tin can etc etc. people are intelligent enough to understand which one is more VFM. (By the way Verna also scored a 5* safety rating and on any day creta comes with that resulted in more reduction in sales of VW/SKODA

@@abhishekjain3213 see you have to understand the psychology.. well vw only started manufacturing cars in India in 2020.. so they are late.. before that they were assembling and selling cars.. so those cars like polo or vento were expensive to maintain and had high service costs. So people perception is that their service cost or maintenance cost is still high.. also when someone buys a car 70% of the cases he/she has driven or sat on that car or it's previous model before.. so creta which is manufactured since 2011 has more units and more people experienced it. Now problem is that if someone drives a vw/skoda car from a friend or something.. he doesn't like other cars even in test drives.. so he is forced to go for vw/skoda.. in past many people avoided it considering high maintenance costs but now people are learning it has reduced service and maintenance costs by half so those are buying it as there is no other option in this category for such driving dynamics. Also many people are not sure about petrol turbo engines and have not tried them.. and they think petrol engines are less powerful then diesels so creta diesel still gets a lots of sales although mileage between two is not a big difference now.

Taigun 1.0 TSI is far better than Creta 1.5 NA engine. It has more punch and feels better to drive even though it has one less cylinder
