When i was in high school. There was former Soviet sailor as PE teacher. He told to my buddy's clas when they were in sauna after swimming lesson, that in the Soviet navy. There was no women serving in it. So you had to settle for men in the navy. After he told that. most of the class went out from the sauna. Few students sat there and listened more of his soviet time stories. Sergei, you old crazy man.

This song is an absolute banger. Everyone who hears this wants to enlist in the Soviet Navy, IMMEDIATELY. Thanks for the upload, Tovarish! A minor error in the translation: at 1:23 it says "We, of course, need a guitar in the cockpit." While "Кубрике" could be translated as "cockpit" in English, given the context, I think the lyrics refer to the cabin/berth (the space where the crew sleeps and stays during their off-duty period), as "cockpit" means the space where the controls of a ship is located, in English.
