12:31 Sniper can really be useful in some situations though the chance is low Think about this: A heavy tank with a weak ammo rack is in front of you, and his equipment has defense system. Therefore, the chance of damaging or even blowing up his ammo rack is 27% - 7% = 20% You have Level 4 Sniper crew skill so the chance of damaging enemy tank's modules is 4% Now you have 20% + 4% = 24% chance of damaging an enemy module and 100% chance if the sniper icon appears after you fired a shot This is really one of the most underrated crew skills.

In rare cases, yes, but the largest module is the tracks, which already have 100% chance of taking damage. I think this might often cancel the effect of the skill.

Really good video. IMHO the crew skills program is important for improvement for 2 reasons. 1) Yes, completing the stages give a marginal advantage over the opposing players who don’t bother training crew skills; 2) but more importantly, it provides a GOAL that when completed, will really make a more competent player.

IMO The adrenaline rush skill is better than precision shot. I’m not saying precision in bad but the amount of times you end up low is higher for the rest of us compared to landing 3 shots in a row. Adren is also always gonna happen. Adren just as a reminder makes you fire significantly faster when your at 15% hp.

Another IMPORTANT tutorial video Martin, one that should be made clear of it's importance to all new players. Got mine all done bar 2 on lights, 1 on TD's and 2 on Meds @ LVL 6. All others are LVL 7. Good to see you mentioned the go 1st skills though, Mentor, Precision Fire, Repairs and Camouflage. All important, but active on all tanks does help as you mentioned.

Wish WG had instructional videos on this for new players. I always thought that it was the number of battles, not Crew skill XP, that counted here. And I hadn’t known that the anniversary tank crew XP went to this....thought it was just for training crew to 100%! Thanks Martin!

Great video, Martin. The Hasty Shot skill means that you have a percentage chance of hitting exactly where your crosshairs are aimed at the moment. Even if your reticle is the size of the entire screen, your dispersion is 0.0 if you hit your roll.

hasty shot in simplified terms is you have a chance to fire a super accurate shot even if it is not fully aimed. useful for quick peek a boo and running shots.

I don’t understand what the hasty shot crew skill does. It’s says “Gives a X% chance of making an accurate shot when dispersion is more than 100% of the minimum value.” That makes absolutely no sense to me. I understand that each gun has a dispersion value and that value increases when firing on the move, but I don’t understand what it means when it says “when dispersion is more than 100% of the minimum value”. Can someone please explain this in laymen’s terms? Thanks.

It’s for taking pop shots in something like a kv2, no time to aim just put the cursor on the enemy full bloom and fire. Gives a chance on a accurate shot

sniper in simplified terms is yiu have a higher chance to damaging modules when firing directly at them. most useful for setting up fire or track locking for high dpm tanks.

Does Penetration Boost skill activates randomly or theres a way to activate it? And how long does it last ? I see it sometimes on my screen but it lasts very short that I cant even make a clear shot. Any1 knows info about what im talking about?

13:45 you'll see it pop up after he takes the shot. It's a counter blue.. green.. Then 3rd shot RED.. to tell you the Next shot is the 4th shot that is guaranteed 25% more than you're max damage, which is HUGE, especially in heavier tanks. By you must make all the shots. It disappears if u miss or bounce a shot.

@RandomCommentor only elite tanks can train crew skills. Those tanks that have the little olive branch things flanking either side of the tank type symbol. So premium/collector tanks, or tech tree vehicles that you have researched all modules and the next tank of.

@RandomCommentor higher tiers tend to earn more XP per game, so if you have higher tier elite vehicles I’d play those. I also tend to have more fun in tiers 6-10 than I do 1-5 so idk… but fun is subjective.

For players like me who already own most of the tanks in the tech tree, you will have accumulated millions of elite XP and millions of credits with absolutely no use for them. Or if you already own the tech tanks tanks that you really want and deem training of crew skills a better use of your credits, rather than buying tanks that you don’t really want, you can use the your credits for crew training. I think a lot of player don’t know that you can use a combination of elite XP and credits to greatly accelerate the training of your crew skills. If you don’t have credits or you would like to accelerate some of the most important crew skills, highlighted in this video, even faster, you can use a combination of elite XP and gold. Depending on how much elite XP you have available and how many more battles are needed to train a skill to the next level, will determine how many credits or how much gold is required. I was just able to jump straight from level 6 to 7 for a crew skill using elite XP and credits and eliminated the need to play about 1,500 more battles in that type of tank to get to level 7. Pretty cool use of elite XP and credits for those of us who have no other use for them.

13:53 - what is the icon/symbol mean? It is just above the Hit Points Bar, small box that looks like a radar with bottom left portion is blue and sometimes appears next to the Rage crew icon during the game. Other times it disappears like when gun is reloading (it says reloading) then will appear again. Always wondered what it meant because it doesn't look like any associated crew skill working.

I think it is hard to justify Mentor beyond level 5. 1M xp for an 1% xp increase, which means you need to earn 100M xp to break even... that can almost get you all max crew skills!

The boosters make you earn more XP. A lot more. Then use those xp's earned to upgrade your crew SKILLS

Every skill works on every tank all the time at whatever lvl you have them upgraded to. You ONLY can TRAIN 1 skill at a time, but they are all active all the time

Nope buddy. You can only train one at a time... so if you select robustness you can't train firefighting at the samw time...

just wish you could've done a little more research before making this video. hasty shot, when activated, drops your dispersion to 0. mentor is not worth lvling after 4 or 5. the majority of your crew xp should come from elite xp. even at lvl 5, it would take years of play to break even on the exp spent. deadly accuracy is way too situational. most people would argue that it's the worst skill. i have no idea how you could put it on the same lvl of usefulness as increased vehicle traverse.
