Good to see infrastructure upgrades. I just moved here from California where the state doesn't invest in anything -- we're all driving exactly the same roads and interchanges that we had 40 years ago and everything's falling apart.

It's strange reading frustration from WA folks over the construction and general quality of the roads. Where I'm from the population is way less dense and yet the roads and construction were much worse. Traffic overall was better however (metro Detroit suburbs) I'm excited to see this project finish. I've been in Kirkland for nearly 3 years now and I feel like WAdot does a great job but maybe my expectations are way too low lol

Kirkland used to be a somewhat rural suburb just 20 years ago, I think the complaining is just the “not in my backyard” typical suburban attitude. Hopefully this negativity doesn’t stop our area’s natural growth. I could not think of a better way for our city to grow.
