So.....I love the look of this kit. Had no idea they were available. Very unique and reminds me of the Yami BW's. I'm a Honda mechanic at a Honda dealer....I uncrate and assemble these all the time, including the FB big wheel version. They're awesome little bikes for the money. BUT....like everyone else, I'm pissed they're built in China. Other models are built in Thailand. I hope to God the quality and reliability doesn't suffer because of it. My 2001 300EX was built in good ol' Japan and I just might have to hold on to it cuz she's prime Honda. The new stuff doesn't feel quite as solid, really.

As long as Honda is using good parts and they are engineering their own bikes and not rebranding Chinese bikes I don’t see them being built in china a huge issue. Plus if the dealer puts them together correctly out of the crate there shouldn’t be issues. I believe the race bikes and quads are still built in Japan though

I'm building one now. BVC is a nightmare to deal with. Wrong parts, missing parts, and a damaged swingarm. Zero communication not a good company to deal with.

They said theyd over night them. And they did over night him parts. But they were the bar clamps and no bushings again. Literally still missing same parts
