Awesome review mate well informed video. We have the same bike RB with 56 tooth rear sprocket Thinking I’ll put the R sprocket on 50 tooth might settle it to suit the trails better.

how would one make it sit higher it looks tiny compared to the aprillia rx
@glencolefax36132 жыл бұрын
Its a bike for kids 10-15 years of age The next bike up from this would be the crf250r or crf450r also much better bikes with fuel injection these bike are overpriced for a carbureted engine in 2022 etc. they still haven’t changed it. But heaps of fun for young people light so easier for youngsters to control and pick up, the rb or big wheel are not to bad with clearance with a skid plate 19/16 rim size. Great bikes for the wife and kids.

Thanks for the amazing review! You got it all covered. I'm also 13, 14 in march, and i'm buying a bike in november-january and I'm still wondering between a 07 to 09 150RB and a late 1990's 125 2 stroke enduro (newer ones are way too expensive for me, at least in Poland). Time will show what will i buy but thanks to this review i'm leaning towards the 150. Edit: Aaaaaand i ended up with a xr125l.

How often do you have to rebuild the bike
@bennoxon95682 жыл бұрын
I haven’t had it rebuilt yet - had it serviced at about 50 hours (first owners didn’t service it) and our bike mechanic said it was ok. I reckon it’s at least 70 hours now and still going alright. I have read that they suggest 30 - 40 hours so I’m surprised mine is still running good.

Hi I'm looking at getting this bike as a first bike would it be good for me as a bigger 60kg rider and I'm only a beginner as I said I'm looking at it for my first bike
@bennoxon95682 жыл бұрын
Sorry it’s taken awhile to reply. I guess it depends how tall you are. It’s a really hard size to get a bike for. My Dad said he doesn’t think it would be the best first bike and I think it might be a bit of a hand full , can be snappy (race bike) and a dog to start.
@LJ_Adventure792 жыл бұрын
Ok cheers mate am also looking at like the ktm or husky 150s as my mate has had 1 and thinks it will be a good fit for me
@JGSnipes2 жыл бұрын
I had one for a short while at 13 and I was also smaller like this kid. They have plenty of power for your weight but if you are tall it might feel small. They have better power to weight ratio than the Honda 250. I agree it was hard to start but I also had an older used one. I fell once and it died and four flagger or marshals idk what they are called in EU, had to help me start it. I had been racing for 7 years and won a few championships and it was a handful for me. Coming from a ktm 85 because of the added height and weight. Looking at them again after a few years off because I want a do it all kind of mini supermoto and I miss racing. I am 5’ 6” and 145lbs (168cm 66kg) and it seems perfect size. They will feel very fast so don’t overstep your boundaries. Try riding a trail bike like a 150f until you can really rip it around and then move up. 4 strokes have smooth power with lots of torque and 2 strokes are very snappy (think like a big turbo car boost kicking in) apart from ktm, husky, and gas gas because they have a part called a power valve that makes the power hit less hard because it’s in the power more. (Think small fast spooling turbo car). Hopefully this helped and have fun!
