Just bought a 2018 for my 16 year old son with 10,000km on the clock. Such a great affordable bike. He has no motocycle experience and this bike has been a awesome bike to introduce him to the adventure world. Thanks for the review.

What a great little bike. Excellent review mate. Similar results with my 300 rally just approaching 50000 in 2.5 years. Yes I have gone a bit feral. Very similar minimal mods to yours except for the camel 🐪 tank. These things are very easy to set up as an adventure bike as most things are there from the factory. Amazingly despite mine have been used nearly exclusively for trips including many of the hardest 4WD tracks nothing has needed to be replaced except wear and tear items. It has just started burning a small amount of oil. About 250 per 6000 ks or so. Very similar to the DR. The plastics don’t look as good as yours 😂 but they had a hard time a couple of zip ties like you said but still there. It is on track to match the reliability of my DR which has made it to 90000+ with no issues.

Crikey you are going to set the world record. There's a fella in Europe who is up to 105,000 on his 250.

Nice one mate, the 250's and the 300's are amazing machines. For me they are fantastic value for money and a bit like the old Land Rovers they aren't the quickest but they will take you anywhere. 👍🏻

A classic example of buying a good bike and just riding it. Don’t spend your money on farkles, save it for fuel and beer.
