ANYONE WITH HONDAS!! Your bike won't break unless you don't take care of it, that most of the other bikes too. Anyone's bike can break after not taking care of it. But I was on rev limiter in 5th gear on my crf150f for probably a straight 4-6 mins. I was on a long strip of road and trying to get home fast. But besides the point take care of your bikes and change radiator and oil fluid, and even your air filter and you won't have any problems. Grip it and rip it, stay safe!

Why
@Jimmy_Watt3 жыл бұрын
@@jakub151 It was incredibly hard to get started, even with valves perfectly in spec. It also stalled or "flamed out" extremely easily, usually when I was leaned over in a tight corner, expecting a hit of power. More than once, I fell over in a rut, looking like a noob because my bike died. Finally, the head had a serious issue with premature wear, and one machine shop, minus $500, and I got it fixed and out the fucking door. The motor design wasn't the easiest to work on either, if I remember correctly. Steer clear, get a two stroke.

Your fault not the bike. You were going way to hard and then doing wheelies and you starved your engine of oil. Then after your engine was running dry (no power the first time) you decided to rip shit and keep doing wheelies ending in seizing. If that were me id have shut it off immideately when lost power. Let it cool a bit and check the oil. If there was enough in it. Limp it back to the truck take it home and rebuild it before you destory the lower casing
@haddrifterz6 жыл бұрын
you do realize these bikes cant starve of oil unless there is none if that was the case they would die all the time in moto x and other races with the g force they pull. and that is a very common part to fail on that bike i have one and ive been through 2 in 2 years and i dont wheelie all the time so you might want to look shit up before bashing him.
@screener5456 жыл бұрын

hours wise the service manual says 20 hours for your top end but if you're not racing and good maintenance you will get easily 90+ hours, for your bottom end I would say 200-400+ hours just depends on how you take care of it and how good of a job you do at rebuilding it because you can get way more than those amounts of hours on your rebuilds if you take care of your bike stay on top of services listen for whirring noises (shit bearings) check your valves every few rides considering hondas arent the best on valves and your bike will last you a very long time
@SOLDOZER7 жыл бұрын
200-4000 hours?????? You're smoking crack. Its a high compression race bike, not an XR200.

@JayyDesignns7 жыл бұрын
20-25 hours is for the Top End my mates 2005 CRF250R has just passed its 100h mark on its bottom end with no signs of wearing out. You've probably had bad experiences with hondas but the only way to make sure a honda doesnt break down is to listen for whirring and check your oil filter after every ride change your oils every 5 hours and oil filter every other. You sound as if you only have half an idea on what you're talking about

Lower rod bearing failure or piston lean hot seizure? Usually if you run too lean with less load at half throttle, your top end heats up more due to lack of lubrication from running too lean, and usually seizes on the exhaust side. Can make some very loud sounds when it happens because of the metal to metal contact
