@@soroshnaderi7884 it's pretty easy to just not watch porn everyday. I quit for 3 years and after a bit, I realized that my enjoyment of it didn't go away. I was just stopping because someone told me so. While there's a lot of negatives with porn, especially if it's everyday, there's legitimate and beneficial reasons for it's usage. All you gotta do is not lie to your partner, don't spend time on it every day, me and my gf watch it together once every few months. It's like anything else, don't watch it too much, moderate yourself, it's not nearly as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. If you can't control yourself, quit. If you can, then control how much you take in. It's like anything else.

@@IcedsobakaIf someone likes to have a cup of coffee in the morning and does just that are they addicted? Not a whole lot or a couple pints throughout the day but just a cup. How about someone who socially drinks, but not otherwise? Some people legit watch porn once in awhile and that's it. I am one of those people. Sometimes I'll watch porn a few times a week. Other times I go weeks without it. The advice OP gave was for people who watch it often. Not everybody has a problem with porn. Some people are more susceptible to certain addictions over other addictions. I used to have a heavy drug problem for example, but have never had a sex addiction or a porn addiction, or even a gambling addiction just to throw another addiction out there. You are young - are you physically active? Kids your age should be outside playing sports, playing with friends. There's so many activities available so long as your parents provide: skateboarding, playing basketball and other basketball type games at a court, play soccer, baseball, dodgeball at the park, ride a bicycle alone or with friends, rollerblading, climbing trees. For winter, you can be ice-skating at the rink or sledding in your neighborhood with your friends, you can even just play a mean game of snow fighting and build a snowman. You can do weekly activities, like go for a hike with your parents, ride a BMX bike at a trail in the woods, go skiing or snowboarding with your parents, visit the beach/lake for a swim. You can ask your parents to take you to an amusement park. For non physical activities, you can watch a film in theaters, you can go to the library and take out books, comic books and mangas. You can go to the mall with friends to meet girls. In order to not relapse, keep yourself busy - what's more, if you're enjoying a physical activity and it gives you a rush of energy and joy, you'll be less declined to watch 🌽. When we were young and there was no internet access, we were outside a lot and we kept ourselves busy with the activities I've mentioned above. If you do activities outside of computer and Internet it will make you so much healthier and better off than your peers

I have not watched porn now since 2020 and I will say the thing that helped me, which it will be different for everyone, is therapy and how porn effects the brain. I was using Porn as a means of escape from my real life world and was using it to give me a release of stress. Even though while being married and have a child I was still addicted. It took understanding of how the brain was responding to porn as a dopamine release and if I was going to remove porn in my life I had to replace it with something else or the habit would return. To anyone watching this, this gent is 100% correct. To kick a bad habit, in this case porn, you have to replace that bad habit with something positive. Find something else that will give you that dopamine release something positive. It's very simular to building a foundation like the gent is stating in this video which is also important. For me it was my family not wanting my kids to have the same addiction or even expose them to it. I also wanted to stay married and not let it end in divorce And then there is the dopamine. What did I replace it with? Gaming. Now I have a boundary with the type of games I play because there are still games that promote it, however It allowed my brain to detox from the dopamine I was getting from watching sexual content. Now if I see anything that is remotely sexual, not porn but a girl in bikini in a movie or show or sexy looking breast that women always pop out threw there shirts or something of that nature, I am not in desperate need to go masterbait to a video. Instead I have a maturity about it and either look away or I'm not turned on at all or just disgusted by it. The only thing I am turned on by is my wife. It was not over night but understanding and not willing to lose everything I fought so hard for and everything God has given me was to great to lose. For anyone still struggling with this, you can beat this because I did.

Im 35 and grew up in a world where stumbling upon some smut mags was an epic moment that was pretty rare or a highly orchestrated event, and then the family computer became the main place where you had to develop a mission impossible level routine just to avoid getting caught or devestating the computer with irreparable damage from clicking the wrong thing and have a virus bomb the entire computer with never ending pop ups… it allowed for a relatively healthy balance and I never once felt anything but fondness for the stuff. Now I couldn’t even imagine growing up as a kid with a smartphone. I often think about how brutal that must be for a child’s development/early life experience, and before seeing this guys videos I never really fully realized how many people consciously seem to be really struggling with this. It’s really cool to see how well thought out, brave, genuine and helpful these videos are for people struggling, and also awesome to see the supportive community of viewers. Honestly looking back to when I was young, you’d for sure just get made fun of for any of this haha. So good for you guys, your maturity indicates to me the severity of this issue because it’s forced many people to sink or swim therefore developing mature life skills early in life. One last thing, I’m not sure if this will help anybody but I used to be addicted to h and then fetty for about a decade before I was finally able to quit, but I was able to and I had truly destroyed so many aspects of my life that were important to me, however as the cliche goes, when I was able to finally truly work my way out of that nightmare I created for myself, I found that I was a person I truly enjoyed being with a sincere appreciation for life that I don’t know if I ever would have fully been able to develop otherwise

I am Christian, and I've had an addiction for 5-6 years, since I was 9 years old. I've been to scared to tell anybody, even my parents. I've tried stopping myself and it is difficult. Very difficult. Then, I found this channel. This channel helps me with everything. My social skills, my self-improvement, and most importantly, my addiction. I've decided it is no longer worth it to continue to do it. Pornography is an extreme sexual sin. I've asked God for forgiveness at least 2000 times. Just put this in your head: You are not alone in your trials. God loves you no matter what sin you make. He gives you unlimited opportunities to realize your mistake, and repent. You're a great man Jak. Thanks for your inspiration.

Fast! You need to fast to defeat the urge, fast like muslims do from sunrise to sunset. After fasting for 3 days in a row your urge will get lower and if you still think you are having strong urges that are disturbing you, keep fasting until you have tamed your urges. if the urge is still strong then I recommend you to do alternate day fasting for a month. After fasting there is NO WAY you will still have urges. I can f*cking guarantee you that!

Reason for quitting : - I want to make myself better - Be more optimistic and open to social - I want to make achievment in school - Because, everytime I'm trying to quitting, it always failed. - Everytime I want to start a positive habit it just last short. I want to make something different from now and on. This addiction is affecting my life. I don't want to be a failure person. From now on, I promise to myself, that I will make better of myself. I will not let my future of myself fail and dissapointed. This promise it's not just for the addiction, but also for all bad habbits I have.

Was a p*rn addict since 7 or 8 y.o. after finding out my father's adult cd collection. What helped me is that I put Jesus as my foundation. I was not really a religious person but the more I put my faith and get to know Jesus, I feel a sense of pleasure and wholesomeness that p*rn can never make me feel. I became more outgoing and energetic. I started to talk to people more and feel a lot more confident. I started learning to walk by faith and not by feelings since feelings change every season but having faith does not.

The minute I took that step back I felt my anxiety and shame take over and looking at it from an adult perspective I love how I felt without porn. It also made sex with my partner 10x better. For anyone who is struggling, try not to put it on a pedestal so much. Start small and say I won’t do it for two days, then 4, then try a week and build from there. Im 13 years old. I have been battling with depression for over two years now. I have found recently Ive been showing symptoms of ASPD and BPD. These mental disorders have caused me to change a lot. I have been addicted to porn since 2023 december. Just like Jak said, "find the reason for why you relapse." I think I know my reason. My reason is that I use it as an escape. So with that I shall quit this addiction. 3:28 am- Saim out.

At such a young age? Quit social media like instagram or Snapchat bro. Nobody cares. It will just drag you deeper into addiction.

Hey man, I found you a few months ago, and your videos have really been helping me. That's why I want to add something to this one. These points are based on my experience, and they helped me: 1- Think about the women in the videos: Some of you want to be good men, so consider the actresses. The women in porn are often mistreated. Out of respect for them, DO NOT watch porn and DO NOT support this industry. 2- Think about your younger self: Are you the man you wanted to be? No? Then what are you waiting for? Quit porn and become your own hero. 3- Some of you won't do it because it's scary, but TALK to your parents if you're close to them, your friends, or even to yourself if you have nobody. Talk about it, draw about it, write about it, but express yourself because inside of you, there is something that wants to come out. I hope this helps some of you. I love you guys. Keep smiling, stay strong, and be proud.

I mean, probably no. You likely can't stop in instant and not do it for a year. I think realistically you can avoid it for a month. The key is to make it longer after each relapse, and not falling into it after you stumble (as then you could get addicted within days).

It has been 7 months since my last relapse. I never thought I was gonna rid of this addiction, but man, I've been watching porn since I was 14 or 15, I finally stopped for good at 26 now Dude, being 12 years addicted isn't healthy at all, these last few years watching porn I wasn't even having fun or having pleasure One thing I learned after quitting is, that it's never too late, you can still get better 7 months porn free, and I never want to watch it again, I feel so much better nowadays Great video dude!
