My belief is that those who pass away are Resting In Peace (RIP) and according to the good book they will come to life at the Second Coming, and together with those alive meet the Lord in the heavens. There is not such thing as time, one thousands years to the Lord is like a day and a day is like one thousands years. Those asleep have no idea of the passage of time. Thats why when we wake up we have to look at a watch or clock to check the time. We fall asleep and to us, the next second we are awake and we dont know how long we slept for. So to it will be for your father and the comedians and everyone. So, to all intents and purposes they meet the Lord and each other 'immediately' no matter when they passed away. Praise the Lord!

I'm 36 all these amazing comics are gone,Bobby had COpd as you can hear his breathing ,bloody covid didn't give bobby a chance,apart from that he had an amazing talent kind hearted so is Tommy.we have just lost See oconner ,I've got a brill autograph of him.Poor Jimmy Tarbuck all his friends are gone,bruce,tommy cooper, morcambe and wise,the two ronnies,the list goes on,these were all my heroes.one of my favourites Norman wisdom. Christmas and tv isn't the same without these guys and Eddie large too.so many so sad.Heaven must be a fantastic place. God rest.x

Heaven has to wait for Jesus' return when the dead rise and then those alive are all caught up in the blue skies - then comes judgement. Great reply - when we die, brother Terry, we fall asleep, its called at rest, that is why most people have RIP on their gravestones and no LDE Looking Down Everybody. When we sleep we awake look at our watches and clocks because we have no idea of the passing of time. That is how it is when we die, we have no idea of the past of hours lets alone years. When Christ returns his angel trumpets will awake the quick (thats us) and the dead. So do yourself a huge favour and cop on, you would not want to be left behind, not a lot. Bobby was a wise man who built his house on the rock, whereas many build there house on sand. Soon it will rain buckets, so read up and get woke.
