Bhogle & DK are not originally Telugu but it’s nice to see both speak Telugu and make it a lot fun and enjoyable!! Typically Tamilians are very particular about Tamil but I love how DK speaks both Tamil and Telugu so well ( I do as well ) . It’s a credit Harsha that he learnt Telugu as most techies living in Hyderabad offer excuses and avoid learning local language. Great

See how time flies. Still remember the talk on crickbuzz chatter by harsha on the first ever test match which Labuschagne played against India. Where Harsha was telling- it is a rare sight seeing Australia playing "players who do a bit of that and bit of these but not great at either". Now he is putting the name of labuschagne along with Kohli and Smith.. Nevertheless always feels cool to hear Harsha speak❤

INdia misses a key ingredient which is a bowler who swings from the hand like Zaheer, Ishant, Irfan, RP singh, Sreesanth. Even Thakur was swinging the ball both ways. This missing ingredient fails to exploit overcast conditions. India must seriously consider grooming Arshdeep singh as he can swing the ball. This is precisely the reason why India failed to exploit pink ball in the evening conditions.

In case if we fail this time, both in Aus and also reaching WTC final, why can't India change their home strategy going forward? I would say prepare pitches or play in venues where you get some green pitches atleast for day 1 or 2 and then as the test progresses it becomes good for batting. Or atleast a good batting pitches. See its time we need the young batters to have some confidence. We need the young ones to score two hundreds and even a three hundred if chance permits. We have to give them every receipe to make them bat a whole day with confidence. Give them the taste..! What I feel is as youngsters keep facing these tough pitches both in home and overseas there is no incentive to bat long. As soon as when they see they are not going to survive for long, their out of jail card is going into IPL mode. As we can see no one wants to play out session after session except KL Rahul. All wants to score some runs as long as they are there. This whole thing is fundamentally making us a less batting quality side. Cmon we got some good bowlers who need some helping hand from batters. Why can't someone see the stats of number of balls faced by a batter in tests in a season or a year instead of always looking at the runs. That would be an interesting stat and there could be surprises like some of ours could have faced less balls per match than they faced in their net practice before every match. There's our exact problem lies.

In Test cricket, Shubhman Gill has a lower Batting Average (and lower strike-rate) than Colin De Grandhomme, And had lesser runs, lower average (and ofcourse lower strike rate) than....Shahid Afridi after 27 matches. If you have a lower batting average than Afridi in Tests...and people still talk big about you....then you must be genuinely over-hyped.

Based on Adelaide the correct question should be ‘what has Ashwin done wrong?’. He bowled very well, had the 2nd best economy rate after Bumrah, and had Siraj caught Head in his 70’s the match could have turned out differently. He bowled on a pitch with a soft ball against well set batsmen whereas Lyon was not even tried on that pitch.

Please understand that at least a few of us have followed this game for 5-6 decades. Kindly call a spade a spade and don’t insult the intelligence of the viewers. Focus on the fundamental problem. Rohit won the toss but was too scared to expose himself and other “greats” to the Australian fast bowlers under these conditions. So he had no choice but to bowl first. Ashwin bowled well in Adelaide but was replaced by Jadeja in order to strengthen the batting! Another acknowledgment that the tail starts at number 4 and we desperately need number 8 and 9 to make up the shortfall in runs. After a Batting failure in Adelaide two Bowlers are changed in the playing 11 and all the same batters continue merrily! Pathetic!

They only felt that after bowling, to the naked eye it was a bowl first pitch. You never know tomorrow morning they might get 2-3 quick wickets since the bowlers are still very fresh.

Why in the world that the coaching team and the captain of India ask our fast/ seamers to bowl atleast one yorker after every two overs, when the ball does not swing or seam ? We , indian cricket bowlers can not think out of the box. Anyways runs would be leaked. How it would be if it was otherwise? You people can only hype about our indian team. Long way to go.
