I think it's better to have a result instead of no game because it is a bit unfair for the team that didn't get the chance to qualify in top 2. Yes if it is raining throughout then no issues but if there's a possibility of a 7 over game, then it should happen.

@@sp3949 My theory is that RR doesn’t have many fiery personalities in leadership and management. Eveyeone is very calm, cool and composed. In a long tournament like IPL, sometimes it’s that fire that gets you past the line especially in the back end of the tournament.

@@sp3949 Yeah. You need some West Indian flair or Australian ruthlessness, especially if your team , captain and coach are all made up of the most soft spoken people. The only fiery personality seems to be Ashwin, the aging , off spinner. I really don’t know who their true leader is to rally the troops. Love Sanju and Sanga but I’m starting to think they’re not the answer at the roles. I’d MAYBE look at maybe using Riyan Parag as captain next year and let Sanju focus on wicket keeping and batting
