Me and my friends new to Australia we convinced him to come home with us and share a meal! Notice, as great viv Richards is the man to see at the crease, spectacular, so is Abdul qadir, spectacular while bowling, this great legend, was indeed a great magical bowler, was indeed a sight while bowling, humble man, we delighted his action and follow through, passed away sadly and untimely, indeed a great character of the game is gone for ever saying goodbye to all cricket lovers plus acquainted people and kith and kin, my condolences to the bereaved family, this loss will never be replaced, will always be remembered, a giant of the game, rest in peace, sir, we love you, God bless your family.

Abdul qadir was a genius. One of the greatest leg spinner of all time. And he was also the life of the dressing room entertaining the team with his wit & humour. Qadir's bowling statistics do not do justice to his genius. Had he been playing cricket now with the modern DRS system , where badsman can be given out on the front foot as well , Qadir would have gotten as many wicket as the great Shane warne. "Imran khan"

Awesome video. I met Abdul Qadir in Lahore, Pakistan in a ground near his house. I was fortunate enough to chat with him for a while. He was very down to earth. I asked him and he showed me how gripped and bowled different deliveries. The icing on the cake was that he invited me to net practice session and I got to bowl at him in the nets. He was an awesome leg spinner and a great person.

I still remember vividly that day when he got man-of-the-series award of a one-day series(a luxury-car key) and gave it to one of the younger players of that Pakistan team! Such a selfless team man he was! I adored his bowling action! He will be remembered eternally for his humility on and off the field, and for his keen mind which kept the batsmen guessing what is next! Rest in peace. My condolences to the family.
