This is such a lovely piece!! I love how you sanded down the legs to create a more carved leg effect and I have NEVER heard of brushable super glue😮 I need to get my hands on that for sure! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing build with us!!💖💖

Bentley House Minis awww thanks Ara 😍🙏🏻 it was one of those divine moments when as I was walking into town pondering how to make the leg I thought ‘if I could brush on the superglue that would be so much better’ and literally the first shop I went to, looked in the glue section and there was a product I’d never seen before! 😍 the bottle is very well designed too, it has an inner ring in the neck to wipe the excess off so the screw top doesn’t get glued up 👍🏻😉😁💖✨✨✨

Beautiful vanity. Thanks for the superglue tip for the legs. I usually sand slightly, then add a strip of cardstock to hide the mat board lines. Will have to try your method.

Thanks lovely 🙏🏻and I'm super pleased to give you an alternative🤩, the great thing about superglue (especially the thicker gel kind that came with this brush) is that it's self-levelling, so it dries pretty smooth and one you lightly go over it with sandpaper its almost like polished wood, 😍

Another gorgeous piece! I can't wait to make it. The fairies won't appreciate it though. lol! I need to start making room boxes for normal furniture. I have avoided the gel glue because I thought it was supposed to be thin. I need to try the brush on. It seems much less dangerous. lol!

Claudia McNeely thank you lovely 🙏🏻💖 well you know the Room Box SVGs were sent out in the previous newsletter so all you need is some chipboard now! 😉 the brush cones in the superglue bottle and stays in there, so it’s super handy! 😍👍🏻😁

What material did you use? I’m contemplating whether to buy the Cricut maker bc I want to use 2mm basswood but not sure how small the machine can cut. I want to cut 1:12 or 1:18 scale for my lundby house.

frenchy6684 for this project I used 1.5mm matboard - the Maker can cut 1.5mm basswood and 2mm chipboard too, if you look at my Instagram you’ll see all the 1/12th scale Miniatures I’ve made with my Cricut (there’s a basswood sleigh bed there 👍🏻), it can easily cut 1/24th and 1/48th scale but you’d need a thinner material then for appropriate scale thickness 👍🏻😁
