Hi Ken, I won't buy the mug press because it isn't my thing, but you guys owe Cricut NOTHING and yet, are willing to do honest Cricut reviews. I think you're a class act and appreciate that. Design space needs to be more like Silhouette so if you have their ear please let them know lol. I'm an access member occasionally.

I do like the Brightpad, but I like my Cutterpillar Glow more. It is bigger and has both a clear cutting mat and a glass mat. I got all of that for under $100.

I have watched several mug press video's and here are a few things: 1 - you do not have to use cricuts mugs, you can use a sublimation mug, which are available on Amazon. 2 - Put not only your finished mug, but the mug press as well on a easy press mat, as the bottom can get hot Hope this helps

I have a question.i found a iron on pattern on cricuts desings.its looks like the outline of the bunny gets ironon the white part of the bunny which is also a ironon.can you ironon a piece of htv on another piece of htv?

@@cardstockcollector that up to buyers and sellers. I don’t make mugs, just buy, but artisanal or custom ones what be nice. Not everyone’s house or apartment is set up, and mugs to break. I’ve never heard anyone complain about mugs before.

I bought it 2 days after it launched. Basically bought it to have it as I figured it would sell out. Did some research only to learn you can only use their mugs. Returned it and more people started doing videos on it and having success with other products. My luck 😆 honestly though, im glad I returned it.. I think the price point is way over priced. Yeah it's cute and yeah I says cricut on it but Amazon has loads of great reputable machines for a fraction of the price. Some people were saying you can use a decent amount of products with the cricut one but it's a gamble if it will or won't work.

You can use any sublimation blank cup that can fit in the Mug Press. It doesn't have to be just Cricuts.

What is the sublimination printer?

Sublimation are printers that you only can use sublimation ink not regular ink you can convert epson printers with sublimation ink plus cricut also has a lot of infusible ink paper check your local craft store or Walmart hood this help

Yeah for a little machine that makes a cup its way over priced. But i guess thats what they do is use their name to get people hocked etc. As a crafter i know how to shop for my products and know that their are so many other mug presses out their some are way cheaper then this.

there is a sublimation oven out there too, but you have to have a special shrink wrap for oven style heating

You probably get this question all the time. But.....yeah there’s a “BUT”........How did you get started? How did you get involved with Cricut? How long did it take to become their Influencer (sorry I forget the real position name). I am a lot older than you guys & want to jump my feet into the “online connection “. You can apply to be a product expert. Start doing videos on the products and then hopefully people start watching and you then get more noticed.

Sorry Cricut is a rip off. You can buy a mug press that has multiple settings and takes all kinds of mugs for a few bucks more. They pray on the OCD crafter that wants cute and color. They are deplorable in my opinion.

This is way too much work and money for making a mug! I guess the mug press is ok, but why would I spend that much money on it when I can buy a 6 in 1 heat press? I’ll stick to real sublimation. Print, press, done. Seems like another money gimmick if you ask me. Cricut trying to keep up with crafters but can’t.
