We got the cooling mat from Michaels, it's by Cricut but you could also use a towel. Butcher paper is basically parchment paper! Hope that helps and you enjoy the mug press as much as us!

Can you reuse the 3 sheets of butcher papers on more than one mug?

We haven't tried, but we don't think it would be a problem if the outside sheet isn't stained with ink. You really just want to make sure that the ink from the mug doesn't get on the actual press. Hope that helps!

The regular copy paper absorbs more ink than the laser paper, the laser paper can take higher heat and I’ve found colors more vibrant. You’ve not seen any difference?

i would have called it The Mug Shot. i have severe anxiety disorders, so i have developed a thing for voices. some voices i enjoy listening to and are almost calming, or pleasant, and some make me uncomfortable and agitated. your voices are very nice and pleasant. :)

No!! You shouldn’t use plain copy paper. Laser printer paper transfers more of the ink & is designed to better withstand the heat.
