Thank God for Kens Kreations! I cannot tell you how many videos I've watched trying to find out how to print my design, although the title of the video will say Print and Cut Tutorials, they don't actually tell you how to do it! I watched the print and cut video several times and was baffled as to why I couldn’t see registration marks. All I got was a solid black box. I posted this problem on a FB group and was told that the black box was the registration. It’s an upgrade for the maker. Perhaps you could add this addendum to your video and save other newbies a lot of frustration. Thanks for making the tutorials.

Ken another excellent video and I'm learning more each time. I do have a question. When you did the little Cricut from Google pics when you placed your printed pic on the mat and were ready to cut...you had those registration marks on your paper. Did you have to do another scan for the registration marks for Cricut or what. The paper you had with Cricut on it had those marks ..when did all this happen I don't understand. Does a person have to do registration marks all the time for each image. If not ..how did those marks get there. This is what I don't understand. pat
@KensKreations10 жыл бұрын
Pat Posk the registration marks are automatic. When you do the flattening of the image and tell the system it is a print then cut it automatically adds those.

Thank you so much for doing these videos! They help tremendously. I was wondering if the weight of cardstock affects the sensor abilities? I have tried several times to print/cut an image and I can only get it to work on regular paper versus a 65lb weight white cardstock. When I have the 65lb cardstock on the mat, it will tell me it cannot identify the image to cut. Thanks in advance!

Ken, thanks for all your videos. I have found them so helpful since I just got the Explore Air just before Christmas, after using the Cameo for 3 years. One of my pet peeves, as is yours, is the white shadow on the Print & Cut with the Cameo. In your videos you demonstrate the bleed feature. However, in the Design Space I downloaded I cannot see that function. I'm probably not looking in the proper place. Can you point me in the right direction? LOL Dianne
@KensKreations9 жыл бұрын
+Dianne Bartoyes in the upper right hand corner before you send it to the printer you should see a check box that says bleed.
@diannebarton32939 жыл бұрын
+Kens Kreations Thanks for your reply Ken. That was my problem. It does not show in the top right corner as shown in your video. I did a bit more digging on the web today and found that in the newer version of DS they have hidden it away on the "mat" page. It is now in the top left corner of that page under More Mat Settings. The programme defaults to a bleed and you have to decide whether to leave it or uncheck it. Just happy I found it. LOL

How is that I only find your videos now?! You're a genious! This is the ultimate explanation for how to do it. Thank you so much! I was debating about what machine should I purchase and I decided for a Cricut. Does it have the pix scan facility? Because I sometimes buy stack paper and they have a tags or images sheet that you are able to cut and I read the silhouette scan the image and then cut the images.... Do you know how to do it with the Cricut? Blessings from México.

Thanks for the tips! I don't want print and cut. Just cut with layers. I seen the viedo with the old design space. With the explore air, I can get the image but it only goes to print and cut. How can I just cut with layers with different colors from google/crome?
Hi Ken! I just got a cricut and your videos have helped me out so much. I absolutely love them. I do need some help though, and hopefully you can help me. Hi Ken, You are like lifesaver for all the beginners in Print and cut technology. I've heard that Cricut Explore Air 2 does not allow us to print and cut designs larger than 6x8.5 inches? Very informative video. THANK YOU! I do have two questions though; when downloading your own files ...... a) can you print and cut out numerous images at the same time that are all the same? i.e.: All the same gift tag. b) if using vinyl instead of pager and only wish to cut out silhouettes, can more than one be cut (again) all at the same time? In other words, in both cases for the above do you have to print and/or cut EACH image individually? With appreciation .............

First I love your videos. You have taught me everything I know about my cricut. I just started using the print then cut feature. I am trying to make pregnancy announcement cards. I uploaded a few images as print then cut, attached a swirly cut border that I want around the card. The print option works wonderfully. Prints my image exactly the way I want. But when I go to cut, my explore is cutting the image it printed and not the border. I have no clue how to fix this. Do you have any idea how to make my cricut only the border and not the image I printed?

+Kens Kreations Wait, that's it?! My situation is somewhat similar, except I'm making Valentines. Hearts are much less intricate that pretty swirl borders, and I can't get it to work for the life of me.
