That was really interesting, wonderful. Brings back some memories. I was a pupil at Morrisons Academy, boarder from 1958 to 1966, then travelled as a Day pupil until 1969, I played football for the local Boys Club & then as a goalkeeper for Strathearn Rovers juvenilise, 1968/69 season. Great memories of the boys I played alongside. If any of my old team mates see this, it’s “Toofy”.

Our paths have crossed .. I was a boarder at Dalmhor from 67-74. Most memorable was the morning assemblies were we sang hymns, listened to a bible reading, JEG Quick headmaster, CA Thompson deputy , Andy Kerr head boy, Norman Begg duc, Lewis Dick Captain of Rugby, Ian Leighton, Guy Crawford, Harry Beaty, Campbell Holden and a host of others,

Spent 16 consecutive summers at teenage Activity week , many years ago . a very Special Place with great memories .

wonderful stuff. i remember as a laddie headin doon tae the school dining centre in duchlage road and wait for the blast o reek off the trains going under the bridge. thanks so much for that footage. my dad jack brock used to barrow goods as a boy up to the bakers from the station.
