When Crim hits the Beast Whisperer of his Etali ETB-Trigger he should not be able to draw cards for his following Etali and the Marionette Master, since they are all cast at the same time, they are already on the stack when the Beast Whisperer hits the board, he does not see them being cast. But great episode nonetheless!

Nice game, as Someone that runs a BIG Bill deck i would possibly suggest adding a Smuggler's Surprise found that in a pinch for 2 mans it can help with Creatures you control with power 4 or greater gain hexproof and indestructible until end of turn.

I think Lua missed that Mastermind Plum can exile cards from ANY graveyard, not just her own. Granted, it wouldn't have had a major impact on the game, but she definitely could have poked around in other graves first before exiling her own stuff.

No, she knew. I believe early on, she exiled a fetch land from Tori's grave since she had no other good targets.

Sooo I’m pretty sure (not 100%) that Etali was played wrong. Crim drew off of the beast whisperer he got with it but they all get cast at the same time ( put on the stack at the same time). So the elf wouldn’t have seen the other 2 creatures get cast.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Loot played correctly - Loot doesn’t count itself…I think on several turns Crim included Loot in the number of cards to exile on upkeep. Every game I’ve seen Loot in I see the same mistake.

Loot is number of card types. From turn 1, Crim had monkey out, and from turn 2, he had treasures. So he was right to exile 2 cards on upkeep every turn (until he found an enchantment creatures and exiled 3)
