What is Crime ?
Crime is a violation of legal legislation that involves breaking societal norms. It can include various types such as murder, theft, fraud, and more. Crimes can be categorized based on different factors like severity, intent, and the harm caused.
Types of Crime ?
Organized Crime: Organized crime refers to criminal activities that are planned and coordinated by a group or organization. Examples include drug trafficking syndicates, organized gangs involved in human trafficking, and organized groups engaged in illegal gambling.
Conventional Crime: Conventional crime refers to common criminal activities that are not organized or part of a larger criminal network. Examples include theft, burglary, assault, and robbery committed by individuals or small groups.
Professional Crime: Professional crime refers to criminal activities that are carried out by individuals who have specialized skills and knowledge in committing illegal acts. Examples include professional hackers involved in cybercrime, professional forgers, and professional hitmen.
Victimless Crime: Victimless crime refers to criminal activities that do not have a direct victim or harm caused to another person. Examples include drug possession for personal use, prostitution, and gambling in certain jurisdictions.
Violent Crime: Violent crime refers to criminal activities that involve the use of force or threat of force against another person. Examples include murder, assault, robbery, and domestic violence.
Property Crime: Property crime refers to criminal activities that involve the theft or destruction of property. Examples include theft, burglary, arson, and vandalism.
