I am troubled about this shooting, the fare is less than #4.00, why would cops endanger the lives of citizens for this non serious crime? Now a 49yr old innocent bystander is fighting for his life, one of the cops was also shot and a young woman was grazed by a bullet. As for the 35 year old fare beater, he was shot in the stomach and is in serious condition too fighting for his life too, just because cops think their commands must be obeyed at all costs. Nothing about this makes sense to me. These trigger happy cops are quite willing to kill you for not obeying their commands for the smallest infraction. How much more is this now costing the city to nurse these people back to health, including the perpetrator, not cost effective at all, and nothing you guys are saying now makes any sense to me.

Also it is within size requirements...certain dimensions, the blade has to be no more than a few inches, i can't remember but you can google it.
