These scammers rely on fear tactics. And when they call you with all your correct details, it's hard to shrug it off, unless you're aware of such scams going around. This is one of the main reasons I don't attend calls from unknown numbers. Once a scammer succeeds in making you nervous or scared, it becomes difficult for you to think clearly. Sir, My brother lost 85K. They called us from RBL bank and told him that they will offer Credit Card based on other bank Credit card (Indus Ind)... He gave all the infor and 85K was swipped from his credit card. I immediately called 1930 with in 1 hr and raised a complain and also informed the same to Indus Ind bank. On the same day we also gave a writtern complain to the near by Cyber crime branch (Red Hills), nothing happened, they simply told that the money cannot be reterived. Now we are doing a legal fight between the Indus Ind bank. Out of 100 cases only 1 or 2 cases are been sincierly attended by the Cyber crime team and they are schocasing it in media, but the in reality it is different...

100% true. I gave all evidences and told that the scammer is still in contact and can be caught easily. But Cybercrime is very lethargic. They don't swing into action quickly.

I received the call last week... The person spoke in Hindi and told me, thay somebody sent a parcel to me, and asked my address for confirmation. I spoke with him in English, asked where your office is located and which couriers? The call was disconnected, before cutting he spoke with someone in Hindi on the other end.... For two days I had the same person calling.... I have the number and call recordings. 😢😢

All int'l courier companies should not ask Aadhar card. They can ask DL, voter ID. Modi govt. Is asking Aadhar card must be linked to EB, pan, bank, ration card, land registration and so many.
