Crime Patrol - Taking Lives - Episode 280 - 9th August 2013

A man fires bullets at a lady and an old man outside a Court. The lady dies on the spot while the old man sustains injuries. The man runs away from the spot leaving behind his car and gun. Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was at the court along with her father to attend the hearing of a case that her estranged husband had filed against her. Who is the killer? Will the police be able to track him down?
Crime Patrol coming back in its 4th season attempts to bring stories of crime happening all around the country. Crimes that tell us, we need to be careful, we need to be watchful. Crimes that tell us lives could have been saved.Every crime we hear of, either warns us to be careful or scares us, it could happen to us. Every crime ignites a feeling, "It should not have happened".Would knowing the "Why" behind a crime, help in stopping a crime from happening?"I don't like the way he looks at me", "I don't like the way he/she is behaving", "I think he/she is out of his/her mind", "I think he/she has gone crazy". That gaze, that quirky smile, that persistent stare which unnerves. It is difficult to understand the intentions but the hints are there.In a house a husband and wife argue, fight. A vessel comes flying, a glass breaks. Husband is angry and the wife is upset. That hatred, that ego. The distance that keeps growing. It is difficult to comprehend the damage, but the cracks are there.Feelings... expressions. Misunderstood, unresolved callings of the heart. The cracks are there. Too wide to be missed. Yet when the heart takes over the mind, the outcome is a mindless tragedy.Crime Patrol- Dastak will attempt to look at the signs, the signals that are always there before these mindless crimes are committed. Instincts/Feelings/Signals that so often tell us that not everything is normal. May be, that signal/feeling/instinct is just not enough to believe it could result in a crime. Unfortunately after the crime is committed, those same signals come haunting.

From this portrayal it appears that the fault lies with the woman, her father and brother. The man seems to have tried everything he can to regain the support. It can't be said that he was not willing to reform. Maybe if the wife had given him another chance he might have given up his business and changed his career. But she was portrayed as being adamant and very unforgiving. The end result is unacceptable as the man shouldn't have killed her but he should have won over the situation and then approached her.

Our jurisdiction is pathetic when it comes to marital status and there resolution....when the kids are of both who has given any right to anyone of the parents to not allow to meet their kids .....mother is off course required by the kids but it is ridiculous to stop a father to not allow to meet his kids.......what alternative he is left with ? The husband needed to be practical and aware of his responsibility to earn money and support his wife and two children. His behaviour in the court indicated that he was mentally very perturbed. The wife needed to stand by her husband when the chips were down for him in business and encourage him to find some other means of livelihood. Both were at fault. What was the man's father doing with a revolver kept at home? The woman's father is a seasoned actor. The elder daughter is an excellent child actor.

Well as per Anup Soni said, its not right to blame anyone. We just know the brief story. Maybe there was no scope in that business, everyone knew that except the main character. Having said that, it was just six months of bad times, and his wife cannot bear six months, she could have taken a job and supported her family. All she did was to walk away. This added fuel to the situation. It made the matter worse. Well the girls parents supported her, and i don't know for what. The girl was adamant and the consequences were suffered by their daughters.
