Yes, unless you were watching Saturday night TV on BBC 1 in the UK in March and April 1997, you would be hard pressed to have known anything about it! Thankfully for me that was my hey day of watching TV in my childhood, and it was just about one the best times in history to have been a kid as I was and to have done it which birthed amazing programmes like this one in particular which I became obsessed with!

@jacksonblaze4235 жыл бұрын
Darn it. Time travel has so much potential and limited only by our imagination. This is a good series and we need more of them, even better ones - when I think about it I like exploring feeling of nostalgia in the sense that the past always seem a time more free if sometimes more dangerous, I like emotional time dramas, in fact any storytelling without it fails (time after time with Malcom McDowell and other love stories like Kate and Leopld). In this arena we are only limited by our imagination, and it's a serious limit. It's amazing how hard it is to come up with new story.

I remember watching these when they originally aired and loved them. I have the DVD. The following Saturday after the end of this series the BBC aired Jonathon Creek's first ever episode and then later Doctor Who. Crime Traveller never returned. It has a cult following and ratings wise it did well. Despite some of it's flaws I personally loved it's quirkiness and it didn't take itself too seriously. Thought Michael French and Chloe Annette did a great job. If it had a longer run I think it would have been successful and well liked.

The jury's out - not sure whether the biodimensional transmuter is more efficient than a flux capacitor.
@vshah10103 жыл бұрын
You can't do an efficiency comparison of the biodimensional transmuter to the flux capacitor. A biodimensional transmuter is of course much better than the flux capacitor. It is a self contained unit. The flux capacitor cannot do much, other than hold a charge, but it will hold more charge than a regular capacitor.

Plot inconsistency: 1. At 2:42 they hear the car crash from her workroom. 2. Shortly after that, she explains that anything that happened will still happen. This would include them hearing the car crash from her workroom. 3. At 44:03, they are present at the car crash. (In fact they cause it.) But his other self cannot be in the workroom because he is at the victim's house investigating the death. So originally they heard the car crash from her workroom, but "second time around" (so to speak), that doesn't happen. Still, despite some earlier atrocities, the story has gotten interesting enough to continue watching.
