I couldn’t watch this trial because it was too traumatic and triggering for me! It never starts out with a slap! He was so good to me in the beginning and not long after, tragically went to breaking my teeth out, choking me, 8 feet off the air kicking me repeatedly until I got out of the cab and of course he had my phone when the detective called me to find out where he should be served papers and he told me to make sure I had the charges dropped so I did what I was told! The detective in Queens, New York said domestic violence once it’s placed in the hands of the DA is out of their control and either I would go to jail for falsifying documents or the restraining order goes ahead! The detective should have realized that he, a 6 ft 5 in 195 lbs man was the one who answered my phone!! Finally I made it sound like they were going to drop the charges on him and he still beat me up that day too!! I got away from him and my restraining order is still in place to this day, over 13 years later!! That was my one and only domestic violence relationship, but not my last case of abuse!! Abuse can be physical, mental and psychological! So the second one was harder to see coming than the first one! I didn’t wait around to see if either one of them was gonna get therapy for their help. Instead, I went to therapy and got healthy and got out of this situation! I’ve learned from another attorney that everyone deserves a fair trial! I’m a veteran who fought for that freedom!! Great video!!

Sure. I wouldn’t have an issue with representing him, unless personality-wise, he would not have been a good fit for our firm. The problem is, it doesn’t exactly appear that there was a realistic defense in the end. But you don’t really know that going into an initial strategy session.
