This country needs and will continue to need prosecutors that are more reflective of the people and communities that they are prosecuting, instead of over zealous people who don’t understand the people or the community. I had total discretion over my cases (as long as I could justify my offers), which helped further my objectives. Hope that helps you understand why (some) people of color seek to work on this side. I did my time and now practicing on the civil side. ❤️
